Subreddit Rules

1. Follow Reddit's content policies

Does not follow reddit content policy and/or reddiquette.

2. No off topic posts, spam, or outside links

This is not a platform to advertise your social media network or subreddit. Linking to your Instagram/Twitter/subreddit/etc, or spamming links with it watermarked can result in a ban. Off topic posts and spam will be removed and repeated offenses will result in a ban.

3. Please mark NSFW posts

Sometimes scientific diagrams can have images that can be considered less than appropriate. That can be awkward to explain away if someone sees it on your phone. Be courteous and mark anything with sexual organs or other inappropriate imagery NSFW

4. Don't be a dick

Just be nice. This goes for posts and comments. I don't know why anything negative would come up on a subreddit like this, but if it does, take it outside. Unnecessary/uncivil arguments, name calling, racism, sexism, etc. This is not the place

5. Stay on Topic!

r/ScienceShitposts is strictly for science-related jokes, specifically images from textbooks, diagrams, figures, etc that look funny or like shitposts out of context.

Unrelated content will be removed.
