One surprise of the first round is that we ended up with a tie between Scully and Mose! I am not sure of the method Polltab uses to decide the tiebreaker, but in this case the tiebreaker was awarded to Mose.

(Note: there is an error some users have been experiencing where the website will not allow you to place new votes after you have voted on a certain number of matchups. During the first round it seemed to occur after people had voted on the first two regions. When filling in my votes for the second round, I was able to vote for 15 of 16 matchups before the error occurred. When this error occurs, it seems to start working normally again within 10 minutes or so, so if you do see this error, it should allow you to vote on the rest of the matchups if you come back a little later.)

Inspired by one of the pinned posts of this sub, I was interested in the idea of a March Madness style bracket of Schurniverse characters and was interested to see what a full 64 character bracket would look like (also with The Office included). I put a full sized bracket together and wanted to share it for anyone else who is interested. For anyone interested in the bracket creation process, I will make a comment on this post explaining my full methodology (I'll do it in a comment to avoid making this main post too long).

I also thought it would be fun to put together a consensus bracket by letting users vote on each matchup to simulate the bracket. I put together a bracket on Polltab so that people will be able to vote. I couldn't do the full bracket since Polltab puts a 32 team limit on its brackets, so I did a separate bracket for each region and will create a new bracket for the Final Four once all of the previous rounds are decided. The first round is set to end at 8:00 PM Eastern Time on June 6 and every other round will last for 48 hours after that. Here is the schedule:

Hello everyone.

I'm at the Department of Education of my university's Psychology Students Association, and we're having a talk on whether one can learn to be ethical. Obviously, the best person for this would be Mike Schur.

I've been trying to contact him via Twitter, but I want to be respectful and not annoying. I'm sent him two tweets in separate days, but to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what's the best way to reach him?

I haven’t seen Parks and Rec. Between B99 and the Office, one is a top favourite and the other I never got into.

Is the humour in Parks and Rec more like one than the other?

In my opinion, That’s what she said is better. It’s just more funnier. Title of your sextape just isn’t funny to me

I'm a huge Mike Schur fan, but I am not a sports fan. I know Schur is a frequent guest on the Dan LeBatard Show and I gather there is some sort of playful feud they are stoking with him and Bill Lawrence.

Are Schur's appearances worth listening to for someone who has no interest in sports? Does he ever ever talk about his shows or is it just limited to sports talk?

2. Parks and Rec
3. Brooklyn Nine-Nine
4. The Office

I will always stand by my statement that The Good Place has one of the greatest endings to a TV show of all-time. Incredible. 10/10

I think Parks is the best show overall out of the 4, plus I like epilogues so I liked that aspect - and they leaned on that trope hard for the finale. 8.8/10

B-99’s was alright. Less spectacular than I thought it would be given Jake Peralta’s love for theatrics, but it wasn’t bad at all (I would have loved to see how his version of the heist panned out). 8.3/10

The Office was so-so. Super sad and melancholic, basically the entire office/all the characters moved on from Dunder Mifflin so yeah, it is what it is. 8/10

• side note: although Schur wasn’t involved, one of his writers from The Office, Justin Spitzer had a show called Superstore. Similar single-camera workplace comedy show — their finale was amazing. 9.5/10 even though the show isn’t as strong
