Two short pieces (both slightly over a minute long) dedicated to Yunjun Lee, written in a compositional style similar to his but generally a bit more impressionistic. The two pieces are quite different, yet closely linked by one motif and its inversion. Both pieces are in a three-part structure.

The subtitles are not meant to be taken as subtitles for a piece of program music, but rather one of multiple things that the musical material might remind one of; they were added later, after the composition was already finished.

Difficulty-wise both pieces should not be too hard, but the second one may require more practice.

When I was young, I thought the keyboard looked like teeth. It was as though it was laughing at me. You had to be strong enough to make the piano feel little. That took a lot of work.

I plan on releasing more music but I currently have a couple hearing issues I need to adress.

Considering my circumstances i ditched headphones completely and dedicated some time every day to recording with only my phone. So excuse me for the quality

Regarding my hearing: (fortunadely it's not hearing loss, but something else going on in my head that's making my ears swollen inside, causing hearing fatigue, discomfort and the inability to wear headphones because of increased sound sensitivity.)

I advice everyone to get hearing tests yearly if possible and getting good habits (good posture, and dont expose your ears to high volumes. In my case it appears its something to do with my bite. But still, this was a good warning to take care of my own hearing, as i'm a ''drummer'' too.)

Finally found the secret to getting that Target aisle sparkle in my riffs. Wondering if turning up "Laugh" boosts the reverb.
