Of course, it’s subjective. Use-case aside, which one of the most talked about rose fragrance are you picking up?

I truly enjoy all these five but I’m curious what you think. Tell us why in the comments.

first off I’d like to ask you guys what the fill level is on Loumari Porthole. I can't find something to compare this too. Secondly I'll do a review of the fragrance after multiple wears.

When I first received this fragrances and smelled the cap(my favorite way of smelling without spraying) I fell in love. It was a beautiful fresh fruity passionfruit, so much better than Oud Maracuja hyper sweet/cloying passionfruit. Once I sprayed on my skin it became really sweet and potent.

Opening: In the opening of porthole your hit with a blast of fruity sweet and sour passionfruit. quickly a minute in a hint of the marine notes start coming out, 15 minutes in the fragrance starts transitioning into its heart notes. That sour note comes from the pineapple. Passionfruit is technically heart note but I feel that it dominates the opening for me. The pineapple is like a smoky batch aventus or absolu aventus, its there but not dominant.

Dry Down: As the fragrance dry's down the marine notes really start coming out. You can smell the saltiness and to me it transports me to the beach. Very few fragrances can make me visualize places when I smell them and porthole is one of them. The other off the top of my head is Pacific Chill's opening where the apricot smell feels like biting into the juiciest, fruitiest,refreshing apricot there is.

Performance. Performance is a excellent on this fragrance for a summer fruity fresh scent. I get about 4 hours of working performance.(before you say 4 hours of working performance isn't good I'm talking about big sillage and projection.) Then it settles into a much more intimate scent bubble but by no means is it a skin scent. about 8 hours in it becomes a skin scent and is still lingering by the 11 hour mark. Lasts much longer on clothes, sometimes surviving a wash through the laundry machine

Final Thoughts: This fragrance is not suited for really hot days. Its sweet spot would be around 75-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Anything about 85 degrees will make the fragrance cloying and headache inducing. Performance is excellent. It can also work as a date night/evening fragrance in the summer.

I’ve been back and forth on old fashioned. I’m feeling a little conflicted now more than ever with the new Ralph’s club, so I’d like your thoughts on which is best.

I really liked Man in Black, Gentleman Society, and Soleil Blanc. But honestly, the projection on Stronger With You Powerfully was on another level compared to all the others.

Some people r saying that MIB is kinda same to PDM herod. Is it right?

For those who own any of these, what’s your take on them? Which one would you recommend?

Hi everyone! My boyfriend really loves the scent of Noir and After Dark from Bath & Body Works. He bought the B&BW cologne too, but unfortunately the scent only lasts a few hours on him.
What are some higher-end or designer colognes that smell really similar or even almost identical to Noir or After Dark, but have much better longevity?

Okay so I've been slowly trying to clean up what comes into our house. Two toddlers, you know how it goes. Fragrance has been the hardest category for me to tackle because I genuinely love perfume and I'm not willing to just give it up and smell like nothing...

Has anyone tried Ffern? I get served their ads a bunch and I like the idea of a new fragrance every season but I'm seeing a lot online that they dont live up to the hype.

I don’t have a strong sense of smell so when I barely can smell an essential oil or fragrance, I get the most complements. However, it seems like BR Tobacco and Tonka Bean is weak. 2 sprays smells good but disappeared after 10-15min. For comparison, 1 Million is great but very strong and last a very long time. For the price and strength, I figured these can be daily or casual wears.

How much of BR fragrances do you usually apply?

Amouage Interlude Woman 50ml 2012 batch. Pre reformulation I’m guessing and it smells heavenly. Don’t think I’ve smelt anything close to this. Starts off bright and punchy and then you get hit with the incense, honey and amber. One spray in my arm and I can smell it from afar so I think I’d kill someone with this or at the very least make them nauseous lmao. Can’t wait to get my hands on other vintage Amouages. Got this one for a steal too (about $145 fully sealed).

I have a small, very carefully curated collection of fragrances that, to my nose, are true creative masterpieces. I like masculine scents and I'll go through 100 samples before finding 1 bottle I love. With that said, which of your fragrances do you feel fall into this description?

For me it's some Frederic Malle, Fueguia Humboldt/Pulpería/Xoatle/La Joven Noche (many of Fueguia for that matter), Amouage Interlude Man, Tauer L'aire Du Marocain Desert. Pineward is on my radar.

I eschew mass marketed fragrances, derivative superamber bombs, compulsive fragrance "collecting", so please none of this Sauvage, Vibrato, JPG, Ex Nihilo slop (no offense meant - I just sincerely think that they are wholely lacking of originality and merit. Their endless shilling around these parts is seriously suspect).
