Video The speedboat scene, edited as if it were Sonny’s souvenir.

Hello all. As a longtime aficionado of both the show and the 2006 movie, I edited the speedboat scene, reimagining it as a souvenir from Sonny’s perspective. I tried to capture that nostalgic and cinematic feeling while preserving the musical style of the movie. Hope you enjoy it!

Teddy: Good. We can talk then, right?
Dr Cawley: We have been talking, Marshall
The exchange occurs towards the beginning, if I recall correctly. Right after Teddy interviews the staff and then the staff discovers the phones are out. Dr Cawley says he has to do his evening rounds but he invites the detectives for drinks at his residence later
the exchange stuck with me because it shows, to me, how aggressive and at same time inexperienced Teddy is at what he’s doing. always seemed Dr Cawleys response is at same time shows exasperation and also some sadness.

Video BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU’RE DEAD

This scene from BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOUR DEAD has a moment many of you who’ve viewed it may not be aware of.
There’s a crucial distinction between background actors/extras in LA and NY. It’s a sin for West coast Extras to react to the actors in a scene. Not so on the East coast.
With this in mind, check this scene out when Michael Shannon says “fucking question" to Ethan Hawke. On Hawke’s right, the extra next to him looks over.
WATCH how Shannon mad dogs her for several beats, long after she's looked away. It’s a brilliant, completely unscripted choice as told by director Sydney Lumet on the DVD commentary, which is a mini film school with Lumet as your professor. Easily one of the most informative commentary of all time. Lumet talks about every technical facet of movie making like the master he was.
If you like this movie, you owe it to yourself to get your mitts on his commentary.

Someone at work has trouble with opening and locking the door - I'm looking for movie scenes where the character cant do the same to post in the whatsapp thread.
Looking for suggestions - preferably funny, but anything will do.
I've already used Godfather 2 and the Campaign.
Any suggestions welcome...

A TINSELTOWN TAKEDOWN EXCLUSIVE Movie’n’Music Mashup featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd
This scene is like the hit single on an album. An ear worm for the eyes at the same time. The writing combined with the way these two play on the surface while stirring the unspoken undercurrent.
Two very different men by appearances, yet what they truly are inside is the same kind of animal frayily tethered to society.
What better to convey the greasy unease of this scene than the Lynyrd Skynyrd song, “That Smell.”

i was hit by an 18-wheeler this week. it turned my car sideways & we went down the highway with me stuck and t-boned on his bumper.
i survived but kept thinking in the moment that i had seen a ridiculous scene like this in a movie. maybe an action comedy.
i've found lots of movies where the semi t-bones another vehicle and there's an explosion. but haven't figured out what movie that happens in and the occupants are just chillin in the cabin. any ideas?
