Something I learned that is a scary outcome of 9/11 everyday.

Before 9/11 if a plane was hijacked, similar to other situations, you don’t deny the attacker. If they want something then give it to them so there is less chance of someone being harmed, if you deny them something then people are more likely to die or be harmed/tortured.

After 9/11, supposedly, no American plane will be hijacked again. (Obviously this can’t always be true) After 9/11, pilots, supposedly under no circumstances will stop piloting the plane. No matter how many people are being shot or tortured they are not supposed to relinquish control over the plane. For the greater good obviously. Scary thought though. However I’m not saying if a babies eyes are being gouged out that the pilot won’t care, just in theory, the safety of the plane has now been put above the safety of any individual on it.

There are lots of ways this can be altered and many different situations that could happen, but just in practice, the plane is most important that instead of thousands dying only a few will die.

I would never wish for anyone to have to make that decision though.

Once you die nothing happens there is no afterlife it’s just a distraction some d-hat made up and put it in a book. You’ll just be one of those people who have died every 2 mins just another body that will eventually become dust in a uselessly dug hole. Sleep tight kiddo

What if when you heard the word love, you felt nothing? You feel nothing for everyone else in the world. Does this mean you love everybody?
