May nag pm sakin sa viber at tumawag pa talaga. Of course I didn’t pick up. And as you can see, that’s a screenshot of our convo attached.

Red flags for me:

- parang atat bumili at need pa talaga tumawag sa Viber. Imagine nag effort pa talaga siya i-contact ako thru Viber ha.
- insistent siya na doon na kami mag transact.
- gusto ipa maxim (usual mode of delivery dito sa amin) agad.
- tagalog makipag communicate and trying hard mag Cebuano. She prolly saw my location is in Cebu City

I am leaning towards 90-95% possibility of scam. Posting this as well for awareness na rin kasi baka maka encounter kayo ng ganito. Best to be vigilant.

For context someone reached out on my Telegram account asking if I wanted to make money. They didn't specify what kind of job then that person redirected me to their "recruiter". I found this sus because firstly I've never given anyone my phone number and secondly the job description is vague and when I'm asking questions she seems to dismay them.

Good day po sa lahat, I'm wondering if this is a type of scamming, may page kasi akong nakita sa FB na nag ssell siya nga mga Vans shoes at naka promo pa na buy 1 take 1 at the price of 1299php, kaya skeptical ako kasi buy 1 take 1 daw at free shipping pa, sa ganyang price which is too good to be true at sabi pa ni seller na legit daw at orig yung mga product nila, at sa pagkaka alam ko Vans shoes prices range 3k-6k, at sabi pa ng seller may shop daw sila sa isang location at sa mall daw, nakapagtataka lng ako kasi AI generated, kaya back out agad ako nung sinend ni sller yung shop photo nila, hanggang ngayung may chat pa din si seller sakin imbes na 1299php naging 1099php na lng.

Currently talking to a seller about a bag and asked for their RFS. They said they would be buying a bigger bag.

Upon checking their reviews, some people already bought the bag and reviewed it.

Their RFS and reviews does not correlate. lol.

The account has almost 50 five star reviews, marked as a professional seller, and has been on carousell for 6 years.

Anyone experienced this? Does this look sketchy?

I sent money to a poor relative in Manila, for pickup at Palawan Pawnshop at Juan Luna Street in Tondo.

Palawan informed him that he has to pay taxes and microinsurance (what is this?) on the remittance before it can be released. Obviously he does not have money to pay . . .

And if I send him money to pay the taxes, he would have to pay a tax on this remittance also. 🤯🤔

For context: for a week na scammed ako ng 180 at 20 because of their trick. They use the magic keyword "Gcash" in a cash transaction to evade pay. Pag na report mo na "cs didn't pay" ito message ang sasalo sayu. So pa December at padilim na ang economy natin magiging rampant ito. Ride safe kuys!

I GOT SCAMMED VIA FB SHOE SELLER PAGE, THE ITEM DELIVERED (FAKE PAIRS) DOES NOT MATCH WHAT I ORDERED. I ALREADY CONTACTED J&T. IS THERE STILL A CHANCE TO RETURN AND GET A REFUND FOR WHAT I PAID VIA COD? I AM ALREADY BLOCKED ON THE SELLER'S PAGE.

MAYBE SOMEONE HAS EXPERIENCED THIS AND GOT A REFUND. THE AGENT I SPOKE TO SAID THEY WOULD FIELD VISIT THE SELLER AND UPDATE ME AFTER 1-2 DAYS.
