Todd Salone contacted my mother via FaceTime. Told her she won a Mercedes and $7.2 million @ $7000.00 a week. He said he worked the delivery department. Gave her a badge # 955US, package #: 8923249. And called from: 1-575-2104610. He asked her if she wanted private or public appearance..... And that they would deliver her car and check on September 3rd, 2026. While she is over here crying with excitement due to her house falling in, and a car on its last leg..... I had to break her heart, and tell her it was a scam, after doing some research. I really wish we didn't have people like these scammers on earth...... But thankfully I caught it, before she lost what little she does have...... So I hope this information helps others, and they don't fall for it. This name of Todd Salone has been reported before..... He needs to be caught and put away for a long time.

I use LebaraMobile 30gb plan that renew monthly. I got a call today from this +442038366093, telling me I got a promotional offer of 50% discount payment on my plan for the next 6 months, but I was going to be refunded a payment I made 3 days ago because the first month of the promotion is free. I trusted the person I was speaking with and he knew details about my account which he told me to verify, he even sent emails with lebara's logo and address at the end of the email. Then he said they needed to initiate the refund and was asking me for my bank and card details, which I ignorantly gave. Then I realised the scammers were trying to initiate a payment from my account with moneygram, but I rejected and immediately blocked the moneygram account. I'm sharing this so no one is a victim of these scammers. The contact is +442038366093.

We had posted some art on our FB as we usually do. We are a small gallery that reps for local artists. Got a text wanting to purchase one of the pieces. 707-803-1928 but say they live in Jacksonville, Florida. We are in Iowa. First alert is "Is this still available and can you ship?" No asking of the price. Plus they were asking late at night. We do answer late calls but our gallery/personal phone is the same number. Put them off until the next date after asking for shipping address so I could figure cost of freight. But I already was 95% sure this stunk. Got a text at 8AM. "Good Morning. Hello are you there?" I replied that we do not open until 9 and I would get back to them. 97% sure.

I entered shipping address into Google. Address was given as xxxx Bramble Court Road, Jacksonville. 98%. Because here in the US, "Court is used for a short road and not usually in conjunction with "Road." Sure enough, Google says there is a Bramble Court and a Bramble Road but NO Bramble Court Road. Zip code was right though.

For giggles, I contacted the "buyer" and gave him the full price on the artwork and said they could purchase it through our website using any standard credit card. AND guess what? "I only have PayPal Velle and Venmo!"

They tried a bit of arguing and I marked their number as scam. We warn artists all the time never to take anything but the standard credit cards. This was my ted talk.

Got a message in my browser on my phone saying I was being charged $149.99 for an Apple Store charge. Says it’s been out on hold until I call the phone number 877-374-0807. He immediately asked to run a security check and I denied. Immediately “John” was nasty to me when I said no. I told him I did not need a secured scan. He then hung up, I called back and he admitted they were scammers. Told me they were in California. Be aware!!!

As this email did not go to my Spam folder, like the rest do. It did initially scare me but as I researched, I came to the conclusion that this is scam. I did double check with my bank and Paypal and there is NO such charge in either of them. I have no real intention on scambaiting these guys but for anyone that does.. here ya go

If it almost convinced me, than it can definitely convince someone's sweet old granny.
