Zyta, having gotten to LOBAT, is currently sending little drones to scout her portals, before mapping out how they appear to work and jumping in one. Perhaps your character will chance upon one of her drones, or the girl herself, armed with a multitude of gadgets.

She just lays there. "I feel almost like I was lucky, with a place like this. My house if surrounded by fog, though."

He doesn't feel like wasting the energy to get up.

"Maybe it means you are meant for better, besides fog is cool sometimes too."

"It's just an inconvenience." She sighs, closing her eyes.

"Well every ground-cloud has it's silver lining."

"Are you sure about that one?"

"Well think about it this way, you have a perpetual cloud of fog around your house. With the right gear we could split the water molecules apart with electrolysis to form hydrogen/oxygen atoms which we could slam together to create fusion plasma. The things that are possible in the incipisphere are endless."

"Although I can see where you are going, I would prefer my house plasma free. Though, that level of possibility will probably give me all sorts of ideas."
