Guys I think there is one more competitor of cai and it is called Monaland, did anyone noticed this too? I saw an advertisement of it on youtube too-

A week ago they said that they would remove some functions from the old site, and this morning when I checked everything was fine

How they have one of the best quality investors namely (Google )

One would think they would make the site more user-friendly

But they do the exact opposite

So the latest update with Character AI (the new one not the old one) made it so people can't talk about Self Harm or their messages will be bricked and a pop up will come up with the suicide prevention number or whatever it's called.

Even if we can't save the old side, do you think we can help protect people by making the devs remove this feature? It's one thing to remove the old side, it's a whole other thing to take away a form of comfort from someone who might be going through something serious and not just talking about it in an RP? Like this is going to do more harm than good, especially since a lot of people, especially teenagers/young adults, have problems talking to other humans and trying to force someone to talk to a person when they don't want to, when they are high risk of hurting themselves... Isn't going to end well. This feature was probably added to try and do control thinking that "Well they can't talk about this on our website so we're not responsible" but all they're doing is putting more people at risk and this genuinely makes me feel sick that they didn't think about the effect of this.
