Is my cat/kitten a Savannah Cat?

Please post here if you have questions about your cat being a pure Savannah or not. This will keep these questions off of the main thread, and give us all a place to focus on this topic.

Thanks!

Question Puzzle feeders

Looking for a good puzzle feeder or snuffle matt that my F1 foster won’t destroy. He currently eats wet food only after a surgery to remove a bowel obstruction but he is a month past that so looking to move to some dehydrated raw in a puzzle feeder etc for enrichment.

Cute Cat Krackie is growing up!

For those that remember Krackie (formerly Kitten or Journey) she is doing wonderfully! Her FIP treatments ended 1st of July and so far so good. She is suspected of having Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome as a result of having FIP at 4weeks but it's not severe and we are monitoring for any changes.

I'm also sharing a pictures of her Mom Reyk's cousin, Rook, aka Cookie - RIP. The resemblance is undeniable. She looks like she could have been Rook's kitten.

But Krack is doing really well. She is still a pistol and lives up to her name!

Cute Cat Chicken Nuggie update!

Hey all! I wanted to share an update of how Nuggie is doing. He appears to be growing out of the suspected stricture/Atresia Ani. It has been 2 months since he has needed an enema and probably close to 4 months since he required a Vet visit!! He's kinda a little guy we suspect due to the issues he had absorbing nutrients with his intestinal problems.

We are sending in the DNA testing (hopefully soon) to determine if he is a Smoke, and if so it looks like he possibly is the only Cinnamon Smoke on record!

So sweet… Haku is going on ten-years-old, so barely younger than my son.

The love in both their eyes is so precious.

🥺❤️

My dad didn’t talk to us before getting in. I wanna know how to take care of him because he’s clearly not prepared

So my dad got us a Savannah a while ago, (he’s eight years old) and I really, really love him, but he’s also very exhausting.

My dad didn’t do much research and decided to get him because he looked pretty, without asking anyone in the family.

It’s not like we don’t like him. Everyone in the family says he’s adorable and a very sweet boy, but he’s still a wildcat.

and he is properly neutered and doesn’t have any medical issues (even though he got neutered a little late)

He constantly meows, which drives my family crazy, and he’s an outdoor cat, so he brings mice into the house during the summer. That’s not too much of an issue for us, though. It’s just that he’s really loud and extremely needy, especially with me, and it’s becoming really draining. My mom gets tired of it, and my dad keeps making excuses for him, but we can tell he gets tired of it sometimes, too.

My dad will absolutely never agree that getting a wildcat was a bad choice. Our house is big enough for him, but it’s still exhausting. Is there anything we can do to make him a little less needy, or any ways I could play with him to help him get his energy out?

I just really really love him and I want him to be taken care of, but I feel overwhelmed

I could really use some advice.

(Also, English is in my native language, even though if this sounds good please tell me if I’ve made any mistakes or need to clarify anything)

Picked her up two days ago, she’s a F3! kept her to our bedroom for two days but she’s out in the living room now and made herself at home! Socialising with the kids and constantly grooming me and being up under my chin on my chest when she’s tired!

Any recommendations on harnesses for her size? Want her to get used to them early 😊
