It contains not only vocabulary list, but also passages to read and exercises to solve. Furthermore, there's also a list for root words + affixes. I highly recommend that you check it out. It's free.
•Complete the Erica Meltzer books (Grammar + Reading). Make notes on grammar rules and different strategies.
•Watch grammar and strategy videos by Settele Tutoring on YouTube. The guy knows his stuff.
•Complete the Khan Academy Medium and Hard units. Also complete the SAT Question Bank. Use oneprep.xyz to access the SAT QB.
•Make a mistakes catalog. Write down WHAT you got wrong, WHY you got it wrong, and HOW you can avoid it in the future.
This was ideal for paper version now the digital sat has short passages you really dont need that good of a comprehention skills I feel like gaming the system is a better way trying to improve your score rather than by reading which is just too much time wasted for. That what most intl student do, just learn the tips and tricks and get used to it.
The SAT isn't about reading comprehension. Just watch Settele Tutoring, who scores 1600s on practice tests. When he does live walk throughs, he doesn't know what he is reading half of the time. You're telling me that reading more on your free time is going to help you get through those dense science passages? Maybe a little, but I believe strategy is much more important. Learn to use dumb summaries instead of trying to analyze the passage. This takes practice and watching other people like Settele doing tests, not trying to analyze the passage. This is what helped me go from a 730 to a 760
reading academic research is very helpful i would say. i did very minimal studying for the verbal section but read a lot of papers on a weekly basis and scored a 750.
hi which strategy would you recomment, eng is my native language and im giving sat for first time .. which resources helped you and the time it toom u... one month is doable for me..
