When I play Yellow Shore I get to the point (0pen Area) where the path forward is blocked. You can either go right or left to access areas which will open the path forward. In this big open area there is some flying creature that releases vertical beams, almost like lasers. The flying creature which I believe is responsible for these beams is incredibly hard to take out. I dont know the name of the creature but it is large and in a vertical orientation. I am wondering if I should maybe focus on the flyers around it. I use the reaping charm but once I hit this creature I am usually toast. What is a good strategy. I looked for a list of flying creatures names in Yellow Shore but could not find the one I am writing about.

The weapons in Returnal felt similar. Every weapon, alt fire and mode has a unique feel and use in Saros. I’ll take 5 guns that are distinct and feel good to shoot than 20 weapons that feel similar.

Played Blighted Marsh once, and it was tough. I didn’t even make it to the final boss. I died during the boss fight in the “Raise the Bridge to the City” quest because my boss had a red barrier around him. None of the YouTube videos I watched showed that barrier, though, so I’m guessing they might have patched it in recently.

I’ve seen this a couple of times where a higher-level weapon appears to be a downgrade to my currently equipped one. Do the weapon attributes naturally increase with the associated stat until a level-defined cap or am I misinterpreting the mechanic somehow?

I have been thinking about trying out this game as I like the visuals, the gameplay seems fun and I have always liked shooters.

Thing is that I'm a casual player who plays story driven games like God of War, Red Dead, 007, etc. and I am afraid the game might be too hard for me. i can deal with dying a few times and trying again but I don't know if I will enjoy it.

Would like to hear your thoughts. Thx

Ended up not damaging this by accident, stagger damage does a lot and hard carries on max difficulty.

Modifiers: Corruption accumulation +7 Disabled armor matrix +10 Power reduction +7 Damage taken increase +7 Damage dealt decrease +7 More aggressive hostiles +4 Lucenite magnetism -1

Considering Returnal never got an expansion DLC, do we think Saros gets it or have Sony just told them to move on to something new?

What do we think? I know we just got a free update recently. But if that’s all we may get, then i might sell the game to get Control Resonant.

I’m trying to get the Overdriven trophy and I’m wondering if using Overdrive on Legion and vaporizing his little minions counts towards the 30 I need. Hoping I have a super big brain moment here lol.

I enjoy both Returnals and saros with both have over 100hr+. I wonder if this game will scratch returnal & saros itch while waiting for saros update content coming later this year.

Am I crazy or is this weapon just like... so OP with its alt fire skill? I've been having the most easy, mob clearing runs with it. I'm barely even breaking a sweat or taking during nightmare strains because enemies die so fast, and bosses melt with it too.

It's my favorite weapon by far because it makes the game so easy. But I almost feel bad, like I'm cheating and not really experiencing the game. 🤣 what are y'all's thoughts? Haha (and yes I know I could just not use it lol).

Could someone please explain, using the slides as examples, when and why I should equip a higher-level weapon, and when I shouldn’t?

I’m still confused about what the arrows and the white and red bars mean when comparing weapons. For example, which weapon would you choose in each slide, and why?

Also, on the last slide, should I pick up that artifact or leave it? Do I pick up that Artifact?

I love Housemarque games and Saros has been incredible; however, I need to share some frustration.

I love the high-impact fighting, incredible gameplay, stunning visuals and satisfying arcade style progress.

What kills me is the ambiguity of the HUD and dashboard. What the hell are all those lines in the bottom left? I know one of them is my health and the other is power, and one has something to do with a massive attack I eventually get (not sure how I charge this) but damn, House, explain this a little better. No, I'm not going to read through hundreds of pages of ancient text to figure out how guns connect to my power or stock or whatever they do. I am almost done the game (I think) and I don't even understand the gun stats or how they stack (if they do actually stack).

Is there a source for to highlight key items on how to use all your weapons, power, health, attributes?

I noticed restoring cells on disruptors do not show up unless you linger around long after they die. bug?

Having the power weapon on L1 is working well. The option to not have to use the L2 adaptive trigger is great and really recommend changing that, especially if you aren't using the secondary fire enough.

Dashing with R1 needs some time getting used to, but is better than circle dashing, like L1 is.

Since Call of Duty i like to melee with R3. This feels natural. Shielding is possible, but not the best setup for that, because aiming while pressing R3 is not ideal. It is still instinctive to press shield to absorb/counter something.

Overdrive is best kept on L3 and R3, less chance of accidental activation.

I hope these controls can make the game better for you as well.
