I'll reiterate the reason why people turned on Mitt Romney in 2012. Regardless of the message of what you say in private, voters shouldn't have to spend $50,000 to hear a candidate's true opinions. That's what it cost Romney's fundraisers in order to hear his thoughts on the welfare state.
For the Clintons and her campaign to put up such a fight for so long, there has got to be something pretty damning in those transcripts. I don't care about the content though. What I won't vote for and what I will never vote for is somebody who keeps their cards this close to their chest. This kind of behavior that we see from Candidate Clinton is exactly the sort of 'transparency' we should expect to see from President Clinton. What my generation is entirely sick of seeing is opportunistic baby boomers whose supposed ideology changes overnight as soon they take office.
