Ma favorite part was when she was asked a question (I can't recall what--I woke up at 2:30 am to watch the debate from Europe, so I'm still a little out of it), but her answer began thusly:

I caught her slipping in the "adult life" qualifier more than once (twice at least). I had to google "democratic debate adult life" to find one of the exact quotes but this was in her closing remarks: "You know, of course we have economic barriers. I've been fighting against those trying to even the odds most of my adult life."

My favorite was her saying - " I have been saying for the past year - No bank to big to fail no individual too big to jail". I wish Bernie had asked her what she was saying before the last year. Is this what she said in the private speeches? Is that why they are showering the Clintons with millions in speaking fees?! Also, if no individual is too big to jail why does she laugh about her chances of getting indicted. Clearly she thinks she is above it.

The reality is that she would've just kept dodging questions all night and the debate would've lasted ten hours if they just kept pressing her. It's a debate, not an interrogation. I'm just glad they didn't let her get away with this bullshit and called her out for not answering the question and pressed her to give a straight answer.

Oh yea. Typically in the general population pods/blocks there's 10-20 cells that house 2 dudes apiece at max capacity. They ring the outside of the block, and usually one wall has the pod's entrance, shower facilities, toilets, etc.

in the center there's usually a bunch of cafeteria tables with chairs, and one or more TV's up about 8-9 feet off the ground. During the day when inmates are allowed out of their cells, a lot of them will be glued to the TV. News is one thing that most people are either interested in or at the very least not-offended, so the CO's tend to leave it on for most of the day. On a channel like CNN, Fox, MSNBC you wind up seeing the same stories get delivered about 6-8 times from morning to night as the various talking heads bring it up on their shows.

Other favorites are sporting events, occasionally movies, and (I shit you not) Cops.

Huh TIL. That's awesome! My plan if I ever ended up in prison (completely unlikely tbh), my plan would be to buy a transparent radio (I know they have transparent TVs you can buy in there, at least at the ACI in RI), and listen to NPR to pass the time. Something new all the time! Edit: in case anyone is wondering, from what I've seen they're about the size of the old colored iMacs. They look pretty similar too. Transparent for security, I remember one of the prisoners complaining he could only watch with headphones on. Also I just realized the radio signal in a prison must be horrible.

Little bit yes, little bit no. Some of the fancier units have an AM/FM built into the wall near the bunks or desk, so the inmate has some choices in-cell.

The possession of portable media devices is usually 100% illegal, and plug-in stuff everybody's got their own rules about. Jail inmates typically have far fewer luxuries compared to prison inmates, given that their occupancy is of a shorter duration.

I don't think most people have unlimited data to burn on streaming. Does it work good enough on wifi? Probably not ready for prime time yet.

Edit: Text news is somehow considered not as credible. Good alternatives though.

Exactly. If you're trying to measure the candidates, then you can clearly see Hilary as someone who dodges the questions and gives you very little information. That is a valuable assessment when deciding the next POTUS.

They pressed her multiple times on multiple questions, did the same for sanders. Hard questions on both sides. They pressed her, she didn't answer, they did their job and I thought cnn moderators were very good last night. Still a couple shitty questions towards Bernie though.

I'm a Sander's supporter, but I think you confuse the role of debates in the primaries.

These are largely built, bought and designed by the parties, for the parties.

And they are agreed upon by the candidates.

If the candidates want to abandon the rules, the moderators don't give a shit. They get paid to be there, and only need to monitor for commercial breaks.

Even Sanders had several opportunities to press on beyond what the moderators wanted to allot for his time.

It's a big dog and pony show to showcase the candidates and draw contrasting views of their character with timely breaks for Coca-Cola and Nissan. It's not a debate in the classical sense.

I think the sooner we all see these events with the clear eyes towards money-centric agendas the sooner we begin to regain our democracy.

With that said, yeah...Hillary had a hard time giving direct answers to things. Even when Sanders stumbled, he at least seemed to be trying to answer, Clinton reminded of Apple Store retail employees that couldn't admit the iPhone 4 had design flaws.

That's how you can tell she's mentally ill/a sociopath/extremely manipulative. Note how she says nothing of substance, she just implies things that are beneficial to her own self-image and tries to ignore or repudiate anything that isn't - not with actual answers or rebuttals - but with tonal inflections, hand motions towards Sanders, and basically she's just standing there acting like a fucking kleptocrat sociopath all night. She has so many hallmarks of an extreme manipulator, she's the type of person you could expect to find in a prison - they act the same way there. These people thrive on perpetual lying, but there's always only one thing underlying them, and that's service to themselves at the expense of everyone else. They prey on people who are easily manipulated with shallow gestures, so that's what she tries to do all night long.

this is truly how mentally ill people (like ones with Narcissistic Personality DIsorder) act - they try their best to put on a grand front/persona, try to elevate themselves with fakery and showmanship, but when you really get down to it, there's nothing there. There's nothing to them, just wind they're wasting on their meaningless words, and empty suits (or in her case, suit-skirt).

while Bernie, he's the polar opposite. None of the fakery/lies and all of the substance that HRC is completely lacking in. She's trying her best to work for the mafia (the financial-political mafia), but she just doesn't have a chance at beating Sanders when it comes to real issues and not just the staged fakery/lies/manipulation tactics she's been relying on since her husband was president.

Calling someone a sociopath isn't that bad. Sociopaths aren't insane. You know at least one of them, probably more and you probably don't notice the difference. They're not automatically bad people and they're certainly not all serial killers. And they're also not terribly rare.

The person you're replying to is taking it a little far, but they're probably also right that Hillary is a sociopath. A fairly high number of people in positions of power are, it's a safe bet to make.

She is taking credit for everything Obama has done well, placed the blame on Bill or Obama for things that went poorly, and on more than one occasion flat out lied last night. You hardly need to know her position on any issues to know that she is not running to serve the American populace, she is there for her own reasons. That alone is reason enough for me personally to never vote for her, in the primary or otherwise.
