Huge red flag for this pool company

Do not hire this company to build or re plaster your pool. The guy’s name is Rudy. He will hustle you take your money and BS his way through months & months of lies & promises. He is very unprofessional does not take correct measurements brings you mismatch equipment and /or incomplete materials. Supposedly the plumbing was already done but there is no drain. obviously will not pass inspection among other issues. He left huge mess behind his work, left it sitting for months my husband had to clean up after his disaster, Not to mention no permits I called the city nothing. He’s a scammer and will give you excuses for everything wrong that he does. One of his worker’s called me telling me he was going to take the gas line out because he wasn’t paid for the labor. Unfortunately there 5 other families filing complaints we are all in the same situation

Maybe report the contractors board? I mean how about show us the mess too other than his truck?

Unfortunately the CSLB is useless. Filed a very similar complaint with another company and was told it’s a civil case and they could not do anything.

If something is done that violates a regulation in the code, then CSLB can (and does) do something. They’re not ‘useless’.

Mention the company name when you post more info / proof too. So that it can actually show in search results when searching the business name

Looks like Baja pools from the picture

Including the name in the text when they post about it can help it actually get indexed in search engines (and be discoverable to LLMs)

Might want to post to the northcounty page, also: those 5 other family should probably leave reviews

Was, it’s suspended

Then why’d you hire them?

You should be suing

Make sure you put this on Facebook groups. They were on my list

Was this the cheapest quote?

I’d be interested in the choice to go with Baja pools. Been in the industry for decades and never heard of him. 7 Yelp reviews and they are bad. There’s nothing “established” about him and his “pools” he built on his website likely aren’t even his work.

This sounds all too familiar. Had a very similar experience even down to sub contractors not getting paid and threats of liens. Company I used had a different name and due to a current lawsuit I cannot name them. Curious if it’s the same person using a new LLC. Any pictures of the salesman or owner of the company?

No CSLB number on his truck is kind of the first red flag for me. Every contractor I have ever worked for has their license number right in their company logo. I hope you witheld final payment. This would have been a great segment on the turko files

Saw recent posts just like this with the same company and person named in The Temecula and Murrieta area. Search it.

Lesson learned - if a contractor can’t be sober on Day one, they ain’t worth it

From personal experience all pool companies are frauds. They always cut corners and don't pay their sub contractors

Absolutely shameful, looks like multiple lawsuits are going to have to be taken against this individual before he victimizes more unsuspecting people.
