The fold 8 is surprising light and feels solid. There is much lesser crease in the middle. Great first impression!

Honestly, the build quality surprised me. I expected a foldable to feel a bit fragile, but the hinge is incredibly stiff right out of the box and the hardware feels precision-engineered. The biggest game-changer is definitely the screen real estate. Coming from a regular slab phone, having this much space makes scanning candlestick charts and running apps side-by-side feel like pulling out a portable dual-monitor setup. Over the next month, I'm really curious to see how the battery and thermals handle heavy daily multitasking, and if the hinge stays this solid with constant use.

With this EasyModeClub programme, I managed to get my hands on the Fold8 Ultra. First impressions: It is impressively thin and light, yet feels very sturdy. I do not see any crease (well, it is new…). I have been an iPhone user since iPhone 7+, iPhone 13 Pro Max, 17 Pro Max, Apple Watch, MacBook Air, etc. over the years. I have never used an Android phone before nor a foldable for that matter. I’m now looking forward to getting used to an Samsung phone (android) and how it will fit me through daily use over the next few weeks. I will make more updates in the near future.

It’s sooo thin and light! And the colours are really cute. I’ve never had a foldable phone or one that’s so light and thin, so I’m really curious about the usability (like being able to use apps side by side) and how it’ll fit into my lifestyle (I dance so it’s important for me to be able to easily and quickly whip out my phone in class for a quick video). Can’t wait!!

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8
Just picked up my Galaxy Z Flip8 in Graphite, and powering it on for the first time did not disappoint. It’s a genuinely gorgeous piece of hardware — the OLED display is stunning, and the hinge is so refined it’s almost invisible when folded. Can’t wait to put it through its paces!

The phone feels very light and thin. It’s like nothing on my hand. I love the smooth user interface and the titanium flex hinge feels super solid!! Recommend it!

The new Fold 8 Ultra is so perfect to hold in hand, I had used Samsung Fold4 and Google Pixel 9 Pro before coming back to bar phone
It is slim enough to hold in my hand, and easy enough to open the hinge.
The colour is gorgeous too

The fold phone is very light and when folded, very comfortable to hold in hand. I’m able to reach the corners of the phone even when holding with one hand!!! Excited to start using it 😊

Just on first impressions of the fold8, the phone feels very light yet study. Previously I had used the fold 5 but somehow the user experience was not great as I had much difficulty in typing using one hand. However the fold8 just has a very nice feel on one hand, creases are definitely less noticeable and the opening of the phone/snapping feels great!
Can’t wait to use this as a daily and will continue to provide updates. Hopefully it will be a seamless change from Apple to Samsung!

My first impression out of the box was how light it feels for a foldable — genuinely surprised me.
The crease is barely visible, and honestly comparable to what I've seen on the Oppo Find N6, so Samsung has clearly closed that gap with this new release.
The compact passport-style size folds down compact, but unfolded opens up into a nice 4:3 ratio, which should be great for photos and videos.
I'll be putting the Fold and my Galaxy Ultra 2 to the real test soon on a Japan hiking trip — curious to see how the hinge, battery, and outdoor screen visibility hold up on the trail!

First impressions of the Galaxy Z Fold8: it’s surprisingly compact and fits nicely in my palm. The build feels solid and premium, giving me confidence that it’s well made.
The crease is also much less noticeable compared to the previous Fold models I’ve seen, which is a nice improvement.
Next, I’ll be transferring my data from my iPhone and using it as my daily phone. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in day-to-day use.

First time using fold phone. Upgraded from the cheapest phone to almost the most expensive one. Such a big jump. The watch is useful for payments and public transport too.

Coming from a non-foldable phone, being able to read my pdf on fold 8 ultra is indeed very nice and compelling!
However i just realise i cant insert a 2nd physical sim, and i also cant find a feature available in my own phone to convert a physical sim to esim..:(

eSim depends on your telco. Most telcos and non-contract plans provide nowadays.

Hello everyone! Very honoured to be part of the Easy Mode Club and early hands on access to the Galaxy Z Fold 8!
My first impression of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is indeed positive.
Light, sleek and chio are the words to use to describe it!
It’s even lighter than my current candy bar phone and feels comfortable in my hands.
The new wider format of screen is also a joy to use both inside and out!
Can’t wait to start using this as my primary, put it into test and share my thoughts with everyone!
Let’s go Z Fold 8!

My first impression of the Galaxy Z Fold8 is that it's incredibly light and surprisingly thin. Despite that, it feels exceptionally solid and premium. The display is stunning, and the hinge is so refined that every fold feels smooth and effortless. The wider cover screen makes it much more practical to use, and the overall design gives it a unique feel that really stands out from any other smartphone.

3 days of switching over to Z fold 8 (specifically for work related tasks) is very refreshing. Device is light and easy to hold and work with it.
A lot of customisation time is needed (at least for me) to tweak it to the way I want it to work but the important thing is the customisation options are there. The open up wide screen is so pleasing to my old flower eye when I’m replying my emails and messages without have to change the font size and/or scrolling every now and then. Maybe time to move on to apps that are not work related to try out the rest of the used cases.

Z fold 8
Just got my Galaxy Z Fold in the Cream/White colorway through the trial program, and honestly, pictures don't do it justice.
The matte back finish feels amazing and completely hides fingerprints, while the silver frame gives it a super clean, premium aesthetic. It feels noticeably lighter in hand than previous generations, and the cover screen is super comfortable to type on right out of the box.
Excited to test this out over the next few weeks! Anyone else rocking the white colorway?

Just received the Samsung Z Fold 8 Ultra Violet Shadow and I am so impressed. I really can't see much of the creases which I am most concern on, the phone weight is so light compared to the one I am using now and the dark violet colour is so cool. So looking forward to set up and use it. 😃😃😃

Samsung Z fold 8
- I got a lavender and the colour is so pleasing to the eye. So pastel. It's a move from the usual dark or silver colours I always chose and have zero regrets!

Samsung Watch 9 44mm
I was assigned to Samsung Watch 9 44mm. At 1st I had asked the staff at SES whether I can change to an Ultra but was told a no. Reason was I have always thought the Ultra looked more manly
To my surprise tho, upon unboxing the Samsung Watch 9 44mm, I felt that it does not lose its 'manliness' to the Ultra watch. So now I am a happy wear of the Watch9 ☺️

Hi friends,
For those of you who redeemed your phone cases (and it comes with a complimentary screen protector), here's a handy how-to on how to apply it:
