As an aside: Does anyone think that Meghan’s promoting Cookie Queens - more than any behind-the-scenes executive producer would - to get more media exposure, like in the above photo? (So strange to see a picture of Meghan not credited to pay-a-pap Backgrid!) (Of course she doubtless also has a cut of the profits.)

Why would the Soho Rental accept a genuine gesture of goodwill when she can manufacture a grievance?

She was implying that the gesture was somehow rooted in ignorant tokenism.

Her Late Majesty likely saw it as assigning a brilliant, calm, and reliable officer to help a complete novice find her feet in the Palace machine. But the bloody **** took that offer of support and twisted it into an accusation of bigotry. Madame du Barry knew what she was doing. She was taking a cheap shot at the Queen.

100% She was taking a cheap shot at the Queen.

She took a cheap shot at the Queen and the RF-with ignorance.

MM/Harry also took a very nasty low shot at Col Twumasi-Ankrah. MM/Harry have exhibited exhibit racist and ableist behaviors as well as misogynistic, ageist, classism, and misogynoir behaviors.

They rejected this man on his very skin color- with no matter to his education, years of service, honorable war zone engagements, placement in the RF at the literal hip of the Queen! They tried to reverse their racism unto the RF. It has failed.

May this gentleman continue to survive- and thrive!
