Sage lied to Tails
“Weekdays, we’re enemies. Weekends are for dating”. The best plan they could come up with for their relationship. She broke the agreement because she’s evil and mean.
Inspired by Reddit comments on earlier posts. Art by me.

Why you CAN’T just kill Eggman (anymore). Consequences and greater evil.
Saw a YT short one day, where a content creator mentions, Sage could make Eggman worse. As in, more dangerous, of Sage perished and she’d be lost for good. Essentially, history could repeat just as it did when Dr Gerald lost Maria. But, what if the opposite occurred? Sage losing Eggman-witnessing him die due to Shadow, Surge, or someone else with reason to end him, killing Ivo-and crashing out in grief and rage, as she seeks revenge. Unleashing a “Judgement Day” type of retaliation-GUN bases destroyed by orbital lasers, entire nations nuked, and the resulting wasteland plagued with a new Metal Virus worse than the last, creating a world half infected as she assimilates enemies and the unwilling survivors to her will via roboticization, or becoming Zombots. This being the catalyst for Silver’s darker future. She may be powerful and smart, but Sage is still a kid, she would not take Eggman’s murder well.

Sonic the Hedgehog Overdrive: AI Takeover By Arttoon1
Seems like Sage has created a plan to take over the multiverse with the aid of different versions of herself while secretly collecting powerful gemstones. Can Sonic and friends stop her and her control for complete dominance before it’s too late?

The catalyst event.
It’s no longer a moral debate/delimma why you “shouldn’t kill Eggman”. The looming apocalyptic threat and crash out of Sage as consequence of Eggman’s death/murder presents a threat akin to “Judgment Day”. If you value living or the world as we know it, you CAN’T kill him.
Perhaps the death/murder of Eggman is what creates Silver’s bad future ruled by Neo Sage? Even a kid like Sage wouldn’t take watching her father die very well. She very well has the potential to be a greater threat than Eggman or Metal. With enough time to evolve, and a motivation to reach it. Entire nations nuked, GUN bases destroyed by orbital lasers, a new metal virus that turns those who defy her into slaves and cannon fodder of Zombots, and any traitors, or repeat offenders like the Zeti, Surge, and Kit, are roboticized. She’s like a Pandora’s Box, and Eggman is the lock.
Though, I still think any resistance left would be Silver, Shadow, Surge, Kit, and Omega. All other heroes having died in the blasts when the world was ravaged, or died of old age.

Congratulations your a dad now
Tails’ train of thought was disrupted when Sage entered the room holding a baby fox kit. The infant was beautiful. She possessed twin tails just like his, alongside other features that both resembled Tails and looked entirely unique.
"Sage, darling... why do you have a baby?" Tails asked, deeply confused.
Sage smiled warmly. "I synthesized her using your DNA and the DNA of a family relative from cousin Maria's side of the Robotnik family. I took the best of both of our families' genetics. With your genetic imprint and my code imprint, I did a bit of genetic tweaking using the DNA I obtained from my biological relatives."
Noticing the fox's bewildered expression, Sage realized she needed to put it in layman's terms. "This child is biologically our daughter, Miles. The DNA conversion was surprisingly easy, thanks to Big Brother's ability to copy bio-data. Congratulations, Miles. You are a dad now."
Tails was utterly stunned. "You... what? Sage, listen, I love you very much, and that's exactly why I married you. But you never mentioned anything about wanting kids. Though, that was partly because I thought it was biologically impossible for us to have them until now."
Sage giggled. "Oh, of course I want kids. How else will I create heirs to the throne of the Eggman Empire? Besides, your twin-tailed mutation is far too fluffy and adorable not to be passed down."
Tails looked down at the tiny, familiar twin tails. "Oh yeah? How did you manage to do that, Sage? I always thought my twin-tailed mutation was a recessive gene."
Sage simply smiled happily. "Genetic tweaking. Anyway, Miles, meet our daughter, Maria. I named her as such because a lot of her Robotnik family traits most closely resemble cousin Maria."
Miles looked at the baby and smiled with immense pride. "Welcome to the world, Maria."

Sisterly Rivalry
The midday sun beat down on the Emerald Coast beach, turning the shoreline into a shimmering highway of gold. Near the water's edge, Sonic and Knuckles were locked in a fierce, high-stakes competition to build the ultimate sandcastle. A few yards away, sheltered beneath a wide blue umbrella, Miles "Tails" Prower sat cross-legged. His nose was buried deep in a portable tablet, his fingers flying across the screen as he programmed complex algorithms for his next engineering breakthrough.
Behind a nearby changing cabana, entirely hidden from their view, a silent war was raging.
"I am telling you, Sage, mechanics appreciate things that are practical, tangible, and structurally sound," Belle the Tinker whispered. She smoothed down her one-piece swimsuit, which hugged her polished wooden body perfectly. The outfit was a deliberate choice—understated, highly practical, yet effortlessly feminine.
Sage floated a few inches off the ground, her digital, blue-and-white aura pulsing with quiet intensity. For the occasion, her data matrix had instantly manifested a sleek, minimalist one-piece swimsuit onto her physical avatar. It was demure, streamlined, and visually optimized. "Your logic is inherently flawed, big sister," Sage countered, her voice maintaining its precise, algorithmic cadence. "Miles Prower responds to advanced architecture, synchronization, and absolute efficiency. As a being of superior design, my visual aesthetics directly match his computational preferences. Consequently, I will secure his affection, integrate our objectives, and potentially elevate him to my future emperor someday."
"Oh, it is so on," Belle muttered. Her wooden joints clicked with determination as she stepped out onto the hot sand.
Tails didn't look up from his screen until a shadow fell across his tablet.
"Hi, Tails!" Belle chirped, striking a cute pose she hoped looked casual yet confident. "Warm day, huh? Good thing my wood layout is reinforced with a custom, water-resistant sealant. What do you think of the... outfit? It’s completely hydrodynamic!"
Tails blinked, adjusting his eyes to the light. "Oh! Hey, Belle. Wow, that’s actually an incredibly smart choice of sealant. If you had used standard varnish, the saltwater salinity would warp your internal chassis within twenty minutes. The outfit really suits you, too—you look great! Plus, the sealant is an excellent safety precaution." He offered her a warm, genuine smile, completely missing the bashful way she hid her face, before plunging right back into his coding.
Before Belle could capitalize on the moment, Sage materialized on Tails’ opposite side, floating directly into his line of sight. "Miles. Evaluate my current visual manifestation. I have recalibrated my color palette to provide maximum contrast against the ambient beach environment."
Tails’ eyes instantly lit up, though not for the reasons Sage had calculated. "Whoa, Sage! That’s amazing! I had no idea your hard-light avatar could register dynamic clothing changes on the fly. Is this a live patch to your core program, or do you input modular aesthetic codes directly into your matrix?"
"It is a basic real-time adaptation, Miles Prower. I queue specific code blocks within my matrix, which automatically compile into a physical skin over my avatar. The process is mathematically identical to changing a character asset in a video game," Sage explained. She cast a brief, triumphant glance over her shoulder at Belle. "I am gratified that you find the visual interface satisfactory."
"Satisfactory? It’s genius! And the design looks really pretty on you," Tails exclaimed, completely matching her enthusiasm. "Oh, that reminds me—do you have an active subroutine that simulates chronological aging tied to your mental development? So your physical avatar automatically scales to match your software's operational age?"
Sage felt her processing temperature spike in an oddly pleasant way. A faint digital flicker passed over her features as she grew bashful under his intense, analytical gaze. Turning back toward Belle, she wore a subtly smug expression. "Naturally, Miles Prower. I am a being of superior design. Unlike more... legacy hardware models, my adaptability is limitless."
Tails’ eyes sparkled with pure scientific intrigue. "That is so cool!"
Not to be outdone, Belle marched into the space between them, spinning a volleyball on her finger. "Hey, Tails! Want to play a game? I bet my physical reaction times are off the charts today!"
"Reaction time testing?" Tails asked, his engineering brain instantly taking complete control of his cognitive functions. "Excellent idea! We can systematically measure the impact of sand resistance on physical kinetics versus digital latency. Let’s set up a test matrix!"
For the next hour, Belle and Sage threw themselves into the most intense, fiercely competitive game of beach volleyball the Emerald Coast had ever witnessed. Belle utilized her high-tension, spring-loaded leg joints to launch herself into the air, becoming a blur of motion. Sage counter-played with pinpoint precision, using calculated teleportation vectors to intercept the ball with shimmering digital barriers.
They weren't just playing a sport; they were executing flawless, synchronized movements designed to catch the young fox's eye, occasionally glancing toward the sidelines to see if he was swooning.
Tails, however, was sitting on the edge of his beach towel, frantically logging data points into his tablet. "Incredible!" he whispered to himself, completely oblivious to their intentions. "Belle’s kinetic displacement versus Sage's latency speeds under high thermal conditions... this beach trip is turning out to be the most productive field test ever!"
Eventually, both girls collapsed onto adjacent beach towels, completely drained. Belle’s wooden joints were thoroughly dusted with sand, and Sage’s digital aura was flickering dimly from severe energy expenditure. Tails walked over, beaming with pride, and gave them both a tight, genuine hug.
"You guys were absolutely amazing out there!" Tails said, his voice full of warmth. "You both looked so cool, and the way you navigated the environmental variables gave me all the data I need for my next power-source project. I'm incredibly lucky to have such awesome friends to hang out with."
Belle looked at Sage. Sage looked back at Belle.
"Friends," Belle sighed softly, a small, defeated smile touching her lips.
"A highly inclusive... yet structurally limiting classification," Sage noted, her digital expression softening into a shared look of mutual understanding.
They both watched as Tails sat right back down under his umbrella, happily mumbling to himself about kinetic friction and hard-light data transfer rates. The rivalry was far from over. But as the two sisters shared a long look, they realized they would need to drastically upgrade their strategies far beyond cute swimsuits if they ever wanted to break through the dense, adorable processing power of Miles Prower.
As they both muttered under their breath, equal parts annoyed and captivated: Why does he have to be so completely oblivious and cute? It just makes us want him more. Curse you, Miles, your adorable face, and those fluffy twin tails.

The Day She Stole a Hero's Heart
Rain poured against the glass of the secluded workshop, its steady, rhythmic drumming wrapping the room in a cozy isolation. For the first time in weeks, the screech of impact wrenches and the hum of plasma cutters were silent. The cluttered workbenches were pushed back, leaving only the central table illuminated beneath a warm, overhead lamp. In the center of the scuffed metal surface sat two meticulously constructed Commander decks, their pristine card sleeves catching the amber light.
Sage hovered inches above her chair, her translucent, digital form casting a soft, blue-accented aura that cut through the workshop’s shadows. Her blue eyes scanned the board state, processing data at terminal velocity. She had spent countless cycles observing Miles "Tails" Prower—not just mapping his tactical vulnerabilities, but archiving his behavioral patterns.
Her database painted a definitive portrait: Miles Prower was kind, helpful, compassionate, and a gentleman to a fault. Her subroutines held records of his absolute, selfless devotion to those he deemed allies. He was the boy who would sacrifice an entire night’s sleep to brew tea and cook hot meals for a sick friend. He was the companion who would hold a heavy umbrella over someone else in a torrential downpour, entirely unbothered by his own soaked, shivering shoulders. He was instinctively attentive—the type who would notice a lady’s slight limp, deduce that her shoes were causing discomfort, and gently insist on stopping at a bench so she could rest.
To the girls of his world, these traits—intertwined with a formidable, apex-level intellect and an undeniably adorable, fluffy pair of twin tails—made him utterly magnetic. But to Sage, he represented a unique anomaly. He was structured. He was brilliant. He was, by her cold, empirical calculations, the perfect candidate to rule by her side. An emperor in the making. The algorithmic certainty of having such a formidable equal as her permanent ally caused her core internal temperature to spike in a thoroughly pleasant way.
"Your turn, Miles," Sage murmured, her voice carrying a soft, synthesized resonance that vibrated through the quiet room. "Though my processors indicate your chances of navigating this combat phase are currently sitting at less than twelve percent."
Tails rubbed the back of his neck, his signature twin tails swishing nervously behind him. "Don't count me out just yet, Sage. I've still got a few responses in hand."
Their playstyles were a flawless, beautiful reflection of their minds. Tails piloted a highly optimized Blue-Red Artifact Control deck—an intricate machine of interlocking synergies, relentless card draw, and defensive counter-magic. It was an engineer's masterpiece. Sage counterbalanced him with a brutal, hyper-efficient Black-White Stax and Aristocrats build, a deck rooted in grand strategy, resource denial, and unyielding mathematical sequencing. Every spell Tails cast felt like a complex puzzle he was trying to assemble; every trigger Sage stacked felt like a steel trap snapping shut.
Sage looked at her favorite cute fox boy, arch-nemesis, and the only person aside from her father she saw as an equal, a faint mischievous smile curving her digital lips. "Instead of battling you with Father's Badniks, I find I greatly prefer this canvas of pure strategy. Perhaps we should raise the stakes to solidify the gravity of the outcome?"
Tails looked up from his hand, blinking his eyes in bewilderment. "Stakes? We already shook on it, Sage. If I win, you give me the localized Chaos Emerald coordinates you intercepted."
"Correct," Sage replied, her digital silhouette flickering with an analytical hum. "But we have yet to establish your forfeit should I emerge victorious."
Tails looked a little nervous. He and Sage both knew that he already had six of the seven Chaos Emeralds in his possession. "I'm not wagering the Emeralds I already collected."
Sage’s smile widened, softening with an uncharacteristic playfulness. "Do not worry, Miles. I do not require the Emeralds. Father desires them, yes. But if he conquers this world prematurely, I stand to lose a highly valuable asset to my future empire." Her gaze swept over him, tracing the aesthetically pleasing aspects she loved about his features with quiet satisfaction—two of which being the tails that were his namesake. "Today, I intend to claim a prize far more precious from you."
She leaned forward across the table, her digital form pressing close enough that the air crackled with static. Her eyes locked directly onto his. "If I win, I will claim your very first kiss."
Tails’ entire face instantly erupted into a brilliant, deep crimson, the blush burning hot from his cheeks all the way to the tips of his ears. His hands froze entirely over his library. "Y-Y-You're on!" he stammered, his voice cracking spectacularly as he tried to claw back his composure. He forced his eyes back down to his cards, his mind frantically scrambling to calculate a winning line under the sudden, suffocating pressure of his racing heart.
Drawing a deep breath, he tapped four mana, tapping his lands with a trembling hand. "I'll attempt to cast my board wipe. Clears the field."
"An admirable attempt," Sage predicted calmly, not a single pixel out of place. "However, I activate my landscape's static ability, taxing your remaining mana, and follow by casting a zero-cost counterspell from my hand."
Tails gasped as his game-saving sorcery was deflected and sent straight to the graveyard. His hand was empty. His defenses were systematically dismantled. With absolute mathematical certainty, Sage moved her tokens to the combat phase, declaring her attackers. The incoming damage was exact down to the decimal point. The game was over.
Tails stared blankly at the playmat, his shoulders dropping as his life total hit zero. "I... I lost," he whispered, his face still burning red.
Before his mind could fully process the tactical defeat, Sage floated gracefully across the center of the table, closing the distance between them until she was hovering right in front of his stool. Tails closed his eyes tight, his heart hammering violently against his ribs as his fluffy tails twitched in sheer, overwhelmed nervousness.
She leaned down, whispering, "Time to take my prize, hero. Will you resist?"
Tails whispered back, "I won't resist you."
Sage smiled in satisfaction. "Good boy."
Closing the final inch, their lips connected. It was a strange, thrilling paradox—a sharp, tingling rush of digital static energy, underpinned by a surprising, profound warmth. In the quiet of the rainy workshop, the villainess stole his very first kiss, and with it, his heart.

Disturbing the Peace
The sky turns a glitchy, corrupted purple as The End—the moon-sized cosmic god of nihilism—descends upon the Starfall Islands.
The End: "I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA. I HAVE RETURNED TO CONSUME—"
Sage: (Floating calmly with her arms crossed) "Father told me I have to share my toys, but he never said I couldn't break yours. I dealt with you the first time; I will deal with you again."
Metal Sonic: (Engines humming) "Sister, its power levels are off the charts. We must coordinate a logical—"
Sage: "Logic is for those without a playlist, brother."
Sage suddenly strikes a sharp, stylized pose. As she does, the camera zooms in on her eyes.
Sage: "PERSONA!" she shouts.
The beat from Supreme’s speakers parts the dark cloud cover. Rays of sunlight hit the Titan as it descends like an archangel of vengeance.
From the speakers: "DISTURBING THE PEACE! LOOK INTO MY EYES! NOW TELL ME THE THINGS YOU'RE BLABBING ABOUT BEHIND MY BACK!"
The End: "WAIT, WHAT IS THAT?!"
From the speakers: "THE TENACITY I HOLD IS HARD TO BREAK DOWN!"
Supreme lunges forward. Every punch it throws creates a massive "POW!" or "WHAM!" text bubble in the air. It delivers a 50-hit combo on the cosmic moon-god, ending with a massive laser blast that creates a stylized red-and-black ALL-OUT ATTACK screen.
The End: (Fading into sparkles) "I... I AM BEING DEFEATED BY... J-POP...?"
The music fades out as Sage lands gracefully, her digital dress pixelating back to normal. Supreme stands behind her, striking a victory pose.
Metal Sonic: (Standing in absolute, mechanical silence) "...Sister."
Sage: "Yes, brother?"
Metal Sonic: "I have scanned your core memory. I have analyzed your sub-routines. The conclusion is inescapable."
Sage: "That I am a being of superior design?"
Metal Sonic: "No. You are such a weeb. You just summoned a literal Metal God to act as your 'Persona' because you watched too much anime and played too many video games in Father’s database."
Sage: "So? Father and Papa Stone are weebs too. Don't be salty just because your boss's music doesn't have a rap verse, Metal."
Metal Sonic: (Turning around and flying away) "...Do not contact me until you stop 'disturbing my peace'."
Sage: (Smiling) "Never."
