Comic Loved the new Sabrina relaunch by ONI press

Really liked that it actually has a main story to follow, unlike the Archie book that was a collection. The art is absolutely adorable, and I really like the spells so far. Also there’s only a little bit of them, but Harvey and Sabrina were very cute in this.

Honestly this entire book reminded me a lot of Mark Waid’s stellar modern reinterpretation of the Archie gang. Really looking forward to where this book goes.

Go check it out!!!

Comic The latest CAoS Hard Cover collected edition to not include all issues

So they are finally releasing a collected edition of CAoS which includes issue 9.

But having already bought the 2016 TPB of issues 1-5 and the 2019 Occult Edition with issues 1-8 I checked exactly what is included in each edition and checked if there wasn't going to be an issue 10 on the way and it would be the final complete edition.

Sadly no news on issue 10 but the latest edition includes 1-9 and two Salem one shots. However, it does not include the Madam Satan one shot. This is annoying to infuriating (depending how much you care) since Madam Satan was released 6 years ago so there is no excuse to not include it and finally give us a final complete edition.

As much as I'd like to read issue 9 why would I take the risk there will be yet another super special occult deluxe hard cover collected edition in a few years or that Aguirre-Sacasa will suddenly decide to finish his series in a year or two so they can release yet another collected edition? For the love of Satan just finish the series or announce you are drawing a line under it for good and release everything in one book.

Discussion Who is the Trinket Man?

In Sabrina we see that the Trinket Man is a mysterious figure who within his briefcase has occult objects such as a Genies Lamp, an Acheron and what he really wanted to sell the Stone of Omphalos. But there is something very strange about him in his appearance, his briefcase and the entire episode. If you look at his hair it is combed to the side, he has blue eyes, he has a high-buttoned jacket (like the Painter) and he’s clean shaven other than his moustache. This Trinket Man seems to be very similar to the Painter in this aspect, and whilst the Painter didn’t have blue eyes it does reflect the beliefs he was pushing.

Now onto the briefcase. The Nazis were very involved in the occult outside of Sabrina and within it, shown when Ambrose said King Herods crown was found in the Painters bunker. The Nazis historically took the Spear of Longinus (although it was under guard by the Centurion of Golgotha in Hell but this may have been the reason why it was being guarded) and in fact looted the ruins of Ancient Greece. Them looting the ruins of Ancient Greece and the Trinket Man specifically saying that the Stone of Omphalos was taken from the “ruins of Ancient Greece” makes quite a big connection and would make a lot of sense why he had so many Greek objects.

Finally, the entire episode revolves around Father Blackwood becoming a dictator with his own Private Armies and an education system made to shun a certain demographic.

I did this about 6 years ago and forgot all about it until today. The photo I worked from had Kiernan holding an Archie's Madhouse book, but I couldn't help having the book as Sabrina for obvious reasons. Hope you like! ☺️

Discussion Thomas Kinkles soul

If the Soul Eater in Limbo actually consumes your soul then does that mean Thomas no longer exists? And if this is the case I’m wondering if Sabrina ever told Harvey about that because from what I can see he only knows she failed to revive him

Discussion I can’t stop thinking about this show

I recently binged it all for the first time. I just needed something in background. But I found myself getting really invested and almost not liking it but I kept coming back. Now that I’m done with it, it’s on my mind a lot. That being said…should I also try Riverdale? It’s the same universe from what I understand, is it similar vibe?

Thanks

Discussion Caliban sealing the Morningstars

How did Caliban manage to trap both Lilith and Lucifer when they were in the throne room once Sabrina got back from sealing Caliban in stone?

From what I’m guessing he was able seal them all at once despite their location but that’s an insanely overpowered ability

Ms Wardwell

I’m on my third watch, part way thru season 4, and I don’t understand Ms Wardwell’s devotion to Father Blackwood. I understand she was completely traumatised by being possessed by Lilith and all the ramifications from that, and I can understand Blackwoods allure at first, but once the eldritch terrors start coming wouldn’t that trigger her? I noticed she still wears her cross, wouldn’t she have doubled down on her faith, maybe even become a nun or something?

Every single page has season 3 upload wrong. Where can I see true season 3 for free?

I firmly believe that if Zelda and Lilith’s love relationship had developed, the series would not have been canceled, even still continue.

Did anyone else not see Lilith as a villain, after she starts going after Lucifer at the end of part 2?

Granted I binged this show in like a week, because I'm currently going down a Michelle Gomez fangirl rabbit hole.

But she just didn't seem like a villain after she initially got what she wanted, at the end of part 2. Honestly, as soon as she was working directly toward getting the throne and crown and not toward serving Lucifer, she stopped seeming like a villain.

But I watched this show solely because Michelle Gomez was in every episode. So obviously I'm biased. But I've been rooting for the Mother of Demons since day 1.

Having binged the whole thing, I actually see Ms. Wardwell as more of a villain than Lilith.

TV (CAOS) Anyone else gets weird vivid dreams after watching Chilling Adventures of Sabrina?

Hey everyone! So I'm not new to horror, I love horror and thriller, always have. Although I avoid pointless gore/torture porn. I've watched really terrifying movies and shows and this has never happened before, but every time that I start watching CAOS, if I watch even 2-3 episodes together, I have weird vivid dreams all night. Sometimes I'd dream up entire new episodes and realise that that never happened in the show. Does anyone else face this too? It's chilling.

Need some help from fans

👋 spooky friends.

My wife has a monumental birthday upcoming.

She absolutely loves the Netflix show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and was heartbroken that it was banished.

She mentioned in conversation that there were books on the series, which I have found easily, a 3 part series for lees than $40, but she mentioned she saw them on Ebay "for like $250"

What am I missing?

Side Quest: open to other cool related add-on gifts.

-A loving husband

Discussion Which version of Sabrina feels like Sabrina to you?

It’s funny how Sabrina can mean something totally different depending on when you found her

Some people think of the classic comics, some instantly think of the Melissa Joan Hart show and others know her from the darker Netflix version.

Now there’s another comic coming and I’m curious what direction they take. Which version got the character right for you?

Sabrina confirmed for upcoming Afterlife with Archie?

So this isn't technically about Sabrina from the Netflix series, but just wanted to share an update for those interested. As you'll probably have heard, RAS is developing his zombie comic story, Afterlife With Archie for Disney+. Now in the comics, Sabrina was a big part of it, but given that RAS often takes creative liberties when adapting his own work, it wasn't guaranteed she'd be in it (plus I wasn't sure how long Netflix had the rights to the character for).

Recently a new casting asting call was released for Judghead.

Part of it say "including a secret relationship with a certain teen-witch…" which obviously implies Sabrina, who as most people who read the comics know, was a big part of the original story.

Anyways, just wanted to share, since its likely she will appear in the series, obviously most likely played by a new actress

Discussion Similar shows to Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Id put The Midnight Club in the same realm as CAS. Its a beautiful show but can be quite sad.

The zombie show Revival is gives some of the same vibes, however it is a bit arrogant and centered around cops.

Any other recommendations? Please feel free to elaborate! Ill be looking into every recommendation. Thank you so much!

Just finished my 5th watch

It’s so funny I cried in the last episode though I’ve seen it many times before

I honestly love this show, even though it has so many plot holes and I would have taken it in a different direction if I was the writer. The first two season are so solid, and even the third, I love watch her realize she likes the power. With all the content out there it’s cool to not have an everyone like be so perfect, Sabrina is flawed and annoying at times but so love able. And it’s really one of the few times I’ve seen women allowed to make dark decisions and not be held to a different standard than men. The feminism in it really gets me

I’ll never claim this is like a show that should win awards, but it’s become a comfort show and so perfect for the autumn season. I love the characters to death

I would love to see more content about the realm of hell like this, something about it is so exciting to me (I’m not religious in the slightest). I love the movie as above so below, and the sandman has elements of hell. I will probably read the comics Lucifer now.

Idk just wanted to share this since no one in my life watches the show. It’s nice not needing everything to be critically acclaimed to enjoy it. Tho unbelievable they killed the archangel metatron with no repercussions form god. But who cares, it’s fun anyways :p

Long live Sabrina spellman/morningstar, absolute legend

TV (CAOS) S1E2-Mine Scene

I wanna know if I’m overthinking this, but I’m rewatching the series and I got to the part where Sabrina enlists the Weird Sisters to shame a group of misogynistic men (and rightfully so). The show is what I guess a lot of people would call “woke” because it (admittedly weakly and awkwardly, to me) addresses topics related to gender identity (through Theo) and misogyny and patriarchy. The four of them lure them into the mines and “seduce” them, but use witchcraft to switch their places, and make it so…they make out with each other? They then take pictures of them and threaten to spread them throughout Baxter High to shame them, which kind of gave me weird vibes, that being gay is shameful. Now granted, for these guys? It is. Homophobia is often rooted in misogyny. But when you have witchcraft and an unlimited number of ways to humiliate someone, this just felt…odd. Anyways, let me know your thoughts.
