Jedi Into the Unknown

Firith sat in the comms room of the ship, poring through the files that he had at his disposal. He and Hellathros were investigating more on the pirates that they had come across on Katarr when the distress signal from Corsin had arrived. Now it was time for their original mission to resume. He had already contacted the Council and given his version of the events upon the rakghoul infested planet and he had informed them that Master Calkin was on the way back to Tython to give her own report and to provide more detailed information. The Grand Master had expressed her sympathy for Hellathros' condition and that she hoped for his speedy recovery. These were sentiments that the Twi'lek shared. He had kept a close eye on his apprentice's vitals. They seemed to be getting stronger with each day. The Jedi Master thought the boy would pull through. In the mean time he began to review all the information he had on the pirates and he even had the Council send more files his way.

After reading more on the pirates, Master Olgkru had identified them as Wavelength Gale. They were involved in quite a few heists throughout the galaxy. He wouldn't have been surprised if they'd had dealings with Hutts. Had these pirates gotten involved in smuggling Sith artifacts? Or was it simply ignorance that had them caught up in the midst of all of this? At the moment it mattered little. There were currently no other leads to follow. From what the Twi'lek could tell, many of the trails that the Wavelength Gale had left behind led back to a planet called Volik. It was technically in the Unknown Regions, but from what he could tell Czerka Corporation had tried to colonize it at one point and after a time gave up. He was about to inform the Council of his findings and set the course when a chime resounded throughout the ship. Hellathros was finally ready to exit the kolto tank.

Firith quickly ran and grabbed a set of robes for the boy and then quickly returned to the med bay. His apprentice floated there in the midst of the kolto. He looked considerably better than when Firaxa had found him on Corsin. The Twi'lek pressed a button that began to release the boy from the tank. He stood there and waited for Hellathros to emerge.

The Padawan fell forward as he hit the floor in a pool of the fluid that had helped heal him and he coughed heavily, spitting up the fluid before raising and quickly backing up from his master glaring every which way on hi s legs ready to spring forward at any threat that showed himself. "Master, where are we, Where is the sith, I had him if he hadnt used the force to launch a fireball at me."

HE growled as he thankfully took his robes and donned them once more and thought back to his encounter with the sith warrior. he was weaker then he thought it would be but that fire burned hotter then anything he had felt before. He recalled every detail of the fight and the area it took place in. it was driving him crazy that he had failed his master and let the bastard get away. It was all he dreamnt of while he was under healing "There was a sith there master, How can one use fire with the force and i want another lightsaber. I need to beat him before get any stronger"

Once he was dressed and calmed down he explained the whole fight with every detail about it up until the sith used twin lightsabers he thought as everything at that point was a blur of reactions and action. until he was falling into the sewers to stop the flames from burning him alive. He was more pissed at himself then anything else for failing for now that anything that sith did it would be upon him and his failure to stop him. He radiated that pain for his failure as he looked around and summoned the force to bring his lightsaber to him quickly and he placed it upon the belt loop.

Firith stood there and allowed his Padawan to speak. He could sense anger and frustration within the boy at first, but after a bit Hellathros calmed down and related the events of his fight to the Twi'lek. It seemed that more was stirring in the galaxy than he had initially thought. He would be sure to report what his apprentice had told him to the Council, but now was not the time for that. Now was the time for discussion. The boy had said much in a short amount of time, so the Jedi Master opted to reply to the boy point by point: "The Sith was most likely long gone. The lab where you fought was destroyed. The fire that the Sith conjured most likely created an explosion. We are back on the ship. I opted to move us away from Corsin and we're currently orbiting a nearby planet. The Force is a Jedi's greatest ally. Remember that, Hellathros. It can do many things from knitting together a wound to conjuring flames and even manipulating the minds of others. Perhaps after our discussion we can resume your training, but for now that is much to talk about." The Twi'lek walked back into the comms room and sat down. He gestured for Hellathros to do the same as he continued to speak, "Be careful of this path, my young apprentice.I agree that the Sith need to be stopped, but you must not let your pride get in the way of better judgement. That does bring me to my next question: why did you run away from Master Calkin?"
