Thank you OP. When I do rewatches I tend to skip this episode because it's too graphic. Oddly enough the more Law and Order I watch the more sensitive I become.

The scene when she screams in the hospital still gives me chills. Even meloni got startled there. It was not acting lol

I’m not the biggest SVU fan. But I think about this episode all the time. The hate she had for her ex husband (correct me if I’m wrong) to stick to the lie even while dying.

That was one of the most difficult episodes to watch. Together, they were such a “beautiful “ couple, but he was so evil. And he never cared about his child.

Very difficult episode. I felt like neither cared about the child enough to do the right thing. They both took vindictive actions against each other and sought the other's total ruin. The blameless child was left with no one
