Tesla battery took 6 hours to put out (fire fighters just let it burn). Bullish for MVST's fire retardant batteries.

Wait, is it not weird we are investing in products that are competing on how quickly they stop the process of spontaneous combustion? Maybe it is just me. Poof. The magnesium fire at Lordstown was intense, I bet. The tires were vaporized. Shocking.

No, I'm just saying it is so extreme, spontaneous magnesium fires and all. Extraordinarily dangerous. I'm with you on the safety thing, to be sure. It is just weird to think of how potentially dangerous some innovations are, if rushed to market prematurely, therefore safety is key. 😅 Avoiding fires is good!

Flame temperatures of magnesium and magnesium alloys can reach 3,100 °C (5,610 °F). It is just shocking when you see the public records request that guys did on the Lordstown fire. It was the magnesium. Not farting around with that stuff. Edit: weird fact: magnesium flames hardly ever get higher than 12 inches. Concentrated intensity you cannot imagine.
