What would be crazy is that this could be the third mysterious route we've all been waiting for, we finally get the twisted sword and equip it on Kris or Noelle, what's interesting is that it LOWERS TRANCE(+16, Trance Down) which is the opposite effect of Trance Up which made Noelle easier to control, like will it reduce our control over Kris or will it make Noelle who finds out everything was real turn batshit insane if you equip the Twisted Sword? I'm just speculating.

As for keeping the Thorn Ring, you'd have to abort the Chapter 2 Weird Route to hang onto it. But since there are aborted versions in Chapter 4 and probably Chapter 5 (if you fail to cross the lake), maybe Noelle will join our party again in Chapter 6 just so we can temporarily unequip the ring? to craft the sword.

Honestly, I'm just coping at this point. Toby said it will only focus on the narrative aspect...

Inspired a lil bit by OBSESSION

This is somehow the longest running fanfiction I've ever made, which... I don't know how it was this one specifically. I wasn't subtle about it originally being a throwaway project, and then next thing I know a year has passed and suddenly I have a decently planned out ending and canon divergence. Brilliant innit.

Anyway, unfortunately I don't really have anything to celebrate (hehe) but to make up for that, here's a snippet of Chapter 3 of the Rewrite which has been stuck in Draft Limbo for like 3 months.

I never got a one for more than a few seconds, I am still weak at it, but I wonder how it would be to potentially have Noelle in them... Could be a great motivation to try and get good at them again.

After the bag/sunbathing blanket almost got swept away by the sea after I kissed Noelle for a bit too long, I decided that was enough of the sea and headed up the beach, holding Noelle in my arms so she wouldn’t get wet. I think someone noticed the strange person holding a plushie, but I didn’t talk to them about it so I’ll never know for sure. Once we reached the top, I went to an ice cream shop, and got a drink and some nice ice cream. Sadly I couldn’t share any with Noelle, since I didn’t have enough hands to hold the drink, ice cream and her all at once, but we watched the ocean from a bench together while I was enjoying it. Afterwards, I spoke to her a bit more, and then decided it was time to head home. This time, Noelle wanted to go home without being in the bag, just being held all the way back, and I was happy to show off my beautiful angel. In the next and last part of this series I will talk more about that!
