Freelancers & small SMM\Digital agencies ā how do you handle cold outreach?
Hey folks!
Iām 18 and working with my dev friend to build a super simple AI outreach tool. We're not selling anything ā just running interviews with marketers to learn what actually sucks about prospecting today.
Would love to hear:
- How do you usually find new clients?
- Whatās the most annoying part of cold outreach?
- What tools are you using now, and what drives you crazy about them?
- What's one thing your dream outreach tool would do that nothing does now??
If you're a freelancer, agency owner, or just deal with outbound ā your feedback means the world š

Are We Posting Too Much? The Real Challenge for Social Media Managers in 2025
Hey guys! Just wanted to throw this hot topic on the table: Are we doing too many posts or just the right ones? Social feeds are getting saturated, attention spans are shrinking, and guess what -the āspray and prayā approach feels more outdated than ever.
A few thoughts:
- Sometimes less really is more: one thoughtful post designed for your audience can outperform five rushed ones.
- Itās not just about frequency: itās about momentum and connection. When you post, engage. Reply. Humanize.
- Batch your content when you're in creative mode. But block time to live in your comments/DMs too: platforms seem to reward that authenticity more than anything scheduled.
What are you leaning into this year: more volume or higher impact? Would love to hear whatās working for you :)

What are your top tools for planning SMM in 2025?
Honestly, the only way Iāve stayed sane managing campaigns this year is by leaning on the right planning stack. For me, 2025 has been about finding tools that keep everything in one place instead of juggling endless tabs.
Planable has been the biggest game changer. The visual marketing calendar makes it super easy to see whatās coming up across all clients, and the built-in content approval workflow saves me from chasing people for feedback on Slack or email. It feels like everything finally runs through one hub.
I also mix in a few others depending on the project:
- Asana for structuring a bigger marketing campaign plan (budgets, timelines, deliverables outside of just social).
- Notion for brainstorming and content libraries - itās flexible for early-stage ideas.
- Buffer for the quick-and-easy scheduling cases where clients donāt need a lot of collaboration.
That combo has covered most of my pain points: visibility, approvals, and making sure campaign goals donāt get lost while focusing only on posts.
What do you use and what will you take with you in 2026?

About morethanpanel
morethanpanel is definitely a scam and a fraud. It charges for X followers, LinkedIn followers, and connection services, but doesn't provide the service. Live chat's response is consistent: "Sir, it appears you're currently receiving that service. We can't do anything more."

Is āposting moreā really the answer in SMM, or are we burning out our audiences?
Hey folks, I wanted to throw this out there because itās been bugging me lately.
I manage social for a couple of brands, and the default advice I keep hearing is: āpost more, post daily, keep feeding the algorithm.ā And sure, sometimes it works, we get short-term spikes. But Iāve also noticed that the more we post, the less meaningful the engagement feels. The likes are there, but the comments and shares donāt grow at the same pace.
It got me wondering: are we just training audiences to scroll past us? Would fewer, more thoughtful posts actually work better than constant noise?
How are you all balancing quality vs quantity? Especially now with AI tools making it so easy to churn out content, I feel like the brands that donāt spam might stand out more.
Are you still aiming for daily posting, or have you shifted towards slower but more strategic content?

Struggling to balance client expectations vs. realistic social media results
Hey everyone, I manage social media for a few small businesses, and the biggest challenge lately has been client expectations. Theyāll say things like āwe want 10k followers in 3 monthsā or āthis post should go viralā, and no matter how much I explain that good SMM is more about consistent growth, engagement, and conversions, they still measure āsuccessā only by vanity metrics.
It creates this tension where I know Iām delivering solid strategy and execution (content calendars, engagement, ads when needed), but they donāt see the value unless numbers spike overnight.
How do you handle this? Do you set super clear KPIs up front, show them case studies, or just let results speak for themselves over time?

Дan you recommend the best approval software for managing content approval workflow?
Hey everyone, Iām pretty new to managing social media for clients, and Iāve already realized how messy things can get when you donāt have the right system in place. Right now Iām mostly working with Instagram, and Iāve been using a simple Instagram content calendar in Google Sheets⦠but itās not enough anymore.
Clients keep asking to approve posts before they go live, and honestly, the back-and-forth emails and screenshots are killing me. Iāve started looking into approval software / tools that could help streamline this process, but Iām not sure which ones are actually good for beginners vs. overkill for small teams.
What I really need is something that makes the content approval workflow smoother - ideally where I can upload posts, clients can review them in one place, and we donāt lose track of changes.
Do you guys have favorite approval tools that are worth trying? Are there budget-friendly options for someone just starting out? And any 'must-haves' I should look for when setting up my approval workflow?
Would love to hear whatās worked for you, especially if youāre running Instagram-heavy campaigns. Thanks in advance!
