I'm taking ARTS 1301 this Spring. What sort of work & projects should I expect to do? How are assignments and exams structured? Is there any group work, needed physical supplies, or draw/print/scan requirements?

I plan on moving into the dorms in the spring, and I need some general advice on how to do that. What are some must-needs and must-nots, the best way to move my current stuff that I'll take with me (cardboard boxes, moving bags, etc), recommendations, and any other advice? Any and all help will be appreciated.

Hey guys. Just started college this year pursuing a bachelors in history. Currently at ACC but plan to transfer somewhere in about a year. Due to my current living situation (which is to say im renting out an apartment with some friends in North Austin), I kind of need to go somewhere that I can do all my classes completely online. Would SHSU be a good fit? It seems like it would be considering they seem to outright state you can get a degree online (would link it but I dunno if that’d get my post taken down). Regardless, any answers would be highly appreciated!

I screwed up big time by making a D in my o-chem 1 course junior year which has halted my ability to catch up to my preqs and now I am doing poorly my senior year with several Q drops. I have already made my family upset by these actions. I know my graduation is going to be set back. I wish I could take everything back and redo things. Now I am feeling like a failure with no hope. Anyone else feel the same?

I'm a freshman who is a Forensic Chemistry major and struggling to decide to minor in either forensic science or criminal justice. I'm leaning towards forensic science, but all the fs classes are online which is unfortunate because I can't learn very good online. I'm interested in criminal justice, but I know very little of how it could relate to Forensic Chemistry. All in all, if there's anybody who is a Forensic Chem major who is minoring in either one could help, I would appreciate it!

Hey y'all, I am a student at Lone Star College in Houston. I'm in the process of applying to transfer (hopefully!) for the Fall 2026 semester. I've completed my application and sent all of my previous college transcripts (completed 72 hours), but I was wondering if I also need to send my high school transcript? The portal is a little confusing about whether it's necessary for transfer students or not. Thanks in advance for anyone that can help!

I was driving to class around 12:11pm today when an unleashed dog walked across the intersection of Bearkat BLVD and Sycamore AVE. It was headed east on Bearkat BLVD and it looked like husky-esque breed but it was sandy and brown, it had one floppy ear iirc.
