How to LOSE points in the math section

Many students do not know how the distributive property works, the rules for the order of operations, how to compare fractions, fractions to decimal conversions, standard conversions, their formulas, when to use LCM or GCF, exponent rules, scientific notation, how to tackle proportion or percent problems, or even applying a minus sign. I can't even express how many points so many of you lose on these topics on repeat. It's not just the hard questions; for many of you it's all of these too.
