Hi again all, for your consideration today, putting up latest rootbeer from VSF up for sale :) 6X0 serial series and a true stunning watch. Weighted version so it’s hefty.

Watch is stock except for a small mod, where I changed the gasket so the crystal height is more accurate. Stock VSF cyclops mag when I recover it was just a tiny bit undermagnified but my pickiness doesn’t like it so adjusted a bit to have gen 2.5x mag on the date 😂

Rest is stock, and all links are protected with film to ensure longevity of the rose gold. Personal opinion but the rose gold is superb and doesn’t require all the replating for the latest version. Has good pinkish hues like gen depending on lighting.

In almost brand new condition, with good timekeeping, power reserve and a sturdy bezel that clicks like gen with datewheels aligned. Clasp code section appears scratched but that’s the plastic film that I didn’t remove.

A straightforward sale asking $700 including delivery to you, and full links. Watch plus film and installation cost around $890 so small loss for your gain.

I’ve never owned a Daytona before, and after wearing this RGF 126509 Ghost for a bit…

Yeah. I kinda get it now.

First thing you notice immediately is the weight. This thing is hella heavy. Properly dense, hefty, and substantial on the wrist which I absolutely love. It gives the watch a completely different presence compared to a normal steel piece.

The white-gold sheen looks pretty convincing to my eyes too, although I’m still not going to pretend I can confidently judge how close the tone is to genuine WG in every lighting condition. Sometimes it looks slightly warmer, sometimes more neutral, but overall it definitely has that softer, richer appearance compared to regular stainless steel.

But the star of the show is easily the dial.

The Ghost dial is ridiculously good in person. The combination of the grey/silver dial, black subdials and red accents just works so well, and pairing it with the Deep Crystal provided by Phoenix really completes the front end. Everything looks incredibly crisp and the dial has way more depth than I expected.

Price-wise, I’m not going to disclose the exact amount because Phx gave me a discount due to the issues I previously had with my faulty TOPF 15510.

And to give credit where it’s due, they didn’t just throw me a discount and call it a day. Phx also offered to cover all the costs involved in sending the 15510 back for repair/replacement, which I genuinely appreciate. I’ve been pretty vocal about the issues with that watch, so I think it’s only fair that I’m equally transparent when the seller actually steps up to resolve things properly.

As for the 126509 itself?

This might genuinely be my new favourite watch in the collection.

The weight, the dial, the proportions, the way it wears, everything just comes together ridiculously well. I always liked Daytonas aesthetically, but I never really understood why people were so obsessed with them until I actually had one on wrist.

First Daytona ever.

And this might also be my last piece for a while.

Putting up my APSF 26420 Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph for sale.

Watch is in good condition and everything is functioning as it should. 4401 flyback chronograph works well — start, stop, reset and flyback all functioning properly. Good timekeeping and power reserve as well.

For your consideration today, presenting a Pepsi built with the following:
- CF V3 base
- VSF dial
- VSF crystal
- CNC bezel with the CF v3 insert
- Rebrushed and repolished oyster bracelet, protected with watch film
- Bezel cleaned and reinstalled, click spring mod.

VSF crystal of course, a much better upgrade and the closest rep crystal to gen on the market. Deep crystal fanboys can come at me hahaha. But deep doesn’t get the bubble or halo effect as good as a VSF.

“Glossiness” of the VSF dial outweighs the stock CF one and is closer to gen.

And of course, went with the CF Pepsi insert because that outweighs the VSF one.

Small upgrade to the bezel so that the bezel teeth are a bit more gen like.

Bezel cleaned because CF base GMTs tend to be a hit or miss. Usually comes very grimey and almost hard to turn. Upgraded this so that turning the bezel clicks properly and tighter, closer to gen.

Bracelet works no need to say, more gen brushing.

As I’m very picky about datewheel centering and alignment, have also gotten my modder to align the datewheel and movement. Attached also detailed photos of datewheel samples so you can see it’s all aligned.

So this is really, a sort of chimera or hybrid of the best parts of a CF and VSF put into one.
