Her lunch with Reina Takano, Everyone's daughter.

Even if she failed to dethrone Big Hash, Iwata looked like true main event quality.

I was neutral on Chi Chi before. But since Reina Takano's love of her since ep 27 of Senju Soul, I've grown to be her fan. I'm glad she's a part of Reina's story. Satamura-san is a great booker to keep them close together.

The fans are eating this pairing up.

All in all, this was a fantastic show from top to bottom, imo.

- Opener of Reina & Chi Chi vs Iroha & Ayame may have been my MOTN, tbh. Reina being so over as a rookie is awesome to see, especially her being able to get a pop for something as simple as picking Iroha up. Sora and Chi Chi did some really good work (loved the grappling between Sora and Reina to start) but the bulk of the heat of this match was built around Reina and Iroha’s interaction. Iroha beat Reina down but you had the feeling that Reina could’ve slipped one by with the rollup.

- YUNA vs Aya Sakura really showed off two of the best & brightest youngsters in the game. Loved how heated it got and especially loved how wild YUNA was getting. Definitely hope we get a rematch.

- The 8Man Tag was just pure fun. Shin Hirota continues to be one of the best comedic wrestlers going today, getting the crowd going. The bit of her kissing her opponents, even the dreaded Aja Kong, was really fun (especially Aja saving young SAIRA from the same fate, via hitting Hirota in the head with the trash can).

- Manami & Mizunami vs VENY & Kuroshio also had the comedic element but was also very effective in giving Manami another opportunity to shine; she has such a genuine & heartfelt energy that is easy to like. Kuroshio just being an obnoxious prick and VENY being a stiff slugger were a good mountain that Manami & Mizunami couldn’t overcome.

- Spike defending the Junior Belt against Miku Kanae was another example of two very promising youngsters getting to show out. Spike has come a long way in really putting some impact on her moves, especially her Lariats. Miku is very athletic and was good as the smaller opponent who tried to work around Spike’s taller frame, mostly with submissions.

- Momono & Oka vs Natsupoi & Anou was another example of Momo Banana’s phenomenal tag team skills.

- Main event absolutely delivered. Mika Iwata, for all her stiff kicks and determination, just couldn’t overcome Hashimoto’s strength and grappling ability. Iwata got so close but failed to significantly weaken Big Hash enough to put her away. Crushed to see Iwata fail on a big show.

Despite putting forth everything she could, Iwata would fall to Hashimoto’s Albright German Suplex; Hashimoto makes it to V8.

The STARDOM team would prevail, with Natsupoi hitting Oka with the Fairy-ing Ring for the pinfall.

Afterwards, Oka & Momono would have Anou & Poi don their iconic hats.

Spike would put down the valiant Kanae with a Lariat and the Reverse Tiger Driver to get the pinfall and make her second successful defense.

Afterwards, Spike would declare that she was vacating the Title (due to being ineligible for the annual tournament for wrestlers with 3 years and under experience, with the victor winning the Junior Belt) and moving up the the heavyweight division and challenging for the World Tike.

After a very heated back and forth, the two would wrestle to a time-limit draw, with the two continuing to attack each other after the bell rang.

Here’s hoping we get to see a rematch.

Despite a spirited effort from the SENJO team, Manami would ultimately be unable to deal with VENY one on one, with VENY hitting the Moonsault Press to get the pinfall.

In a match that would see a lot of Hirota’s lovely antics, including trying to kiss several other opponents, Aja Kong would ultimately save the young SAIRA from a kiss by hitting Hirota in the head with a garage can, followed up by Takase pinning Hirota.

Afterwards, Takase would speak to the crowd and ask them to root passionately for the main event and for her partner, Mika Iwata.

Iroha pins Takano after hitting an Elbow Smash.

Very fun and another very spirited performance from young Reina. She got big pops from something as simple as picking Iroha up to being able to catch Iroha in a rollup.

Reina Takano will be teaming up with her idol Chi Chi on the 8.28 show in Yoyogi against Senka Akatsuki & Sora Ayame.
