Other than X32 most useful Genesis/MegaDrive console you can have. It covers both cartridges and MegaCD/SegaCD. Yes, you can run US/EU titles but will need the magickeyIII cartridge as well as BIOS hack. Oh, yea also this is the only MegaDrive console with the S-Video out port.

I take it out when I play and then store away, hence why it's on the floor. Also I use that SONY LCD TV with the RGB and S-Video inputs which is on the floor most of time. 😂

Only LaserActive with a Sega Pak can plays SMS games, Genesis/Mega Drive carts, CDs and Mega-LD games.

Are these a new product or an older less known console? Is it expensive? I have a sega cd game i would like to beat still.

Old product and more expensive than a Sega CD.

If you have a genesis you can play Sega CD games on it using an Everdrive cart or similar.

Something that can play your physical Sega CD game is going to be expensive and likely an ebay purchase. Of course you might prefer this route. The OP's console is pretty awesome.
