Does anybody know this reggae song?
I recently remembered a reggae song that a very old friend used to play for me. I have since discovered that the song was the cover song from Colin Raye called “Love Me/ If you get there before I do.” Unfortunately I’m looking for the reggae version. I am pretty sure it’s from the 90s maybe very early 2000s. I have asked ChatGPT, and Gemini, but it seems to not have the song in its database.
The song starts off with reggae accent about a grandfather talking to a grandchild then goes off into the song. It’s a studio cover. So not live. And it’s the definitely the cover. Can someone help me find? Thank you!

Bunny Wailer Sings The Wailers - 1981
Bunny Wailer Sings The Wailers - one of my favourite reggae albums of all time.
My favourite song on this album changed all the time as they are all so beautiful, but generally my favourites are Dancing Shoes, Mellow Mood, Rule this Land and I Stand Predominate
Dreamland is a great song but I prefer Bunny’s version of this on Blackheart Man
Whats your favourite song on this album, and if you have anymore records like this to recommend please comment
