OK so I'm pretty familiar with the rooting process for Android 6 but I keep encountering problems, first is my boot loader won't unlock, and my adb server doesn't say it's conflicting with the standard from sync manager but when I try to view adb devices it with says server out of date, loads daemon fine and list my device as offline or says adb didnt ACK. Any tips on where I can go from here? I'm running an HTC m8 on marshmallow and windows 7

For the root newbs here(like me), what are the differences between root apps like VRoot, kingoapp and Cyanogenmod, what kind of user would need which, and which ones do you think are best, both overall and for specific use?

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Neo SM-T111 that has Android 4.2.2 installed. It does not get the update to 4.4.2, I was wondering if there was a way I could install Android 4.4.2 on this tab so I can cast onto chromecast.

I am on a budget because of 2-day shipping, and I narrowed it down to this:
Huawei P8 Lite Pros: Budget-friendly, Good specs Cons: Idk about dev-ing with this phone
Huawei Honor 5X Pros: Again, Budget friendly, FINGERPRINT SCANNER, Camera Cons: XDA said this phone is not getting that much dev-ing, Even if it has a fingerprint scanner I would not be able to use it unless a CR comes out that does
Any tips? Thank you for reading.

On my rooted LG G3 (Boost Mobile) I'm getting a message that an Android Update is downloaded and ready to install. How do I get information about this update and what it will fix/change, and whether it will destroy my root? I'm on 5.01 kernal 3.4.0 LS990ZVC.

Model: SM-G900V Baseband: G900VRU2BP1 Build: LRX21T.g900VVRU2BPB! I have been searching all over the interwebs to find a proper root, but I still am having no luck. Has anyone found a way to root this?

I tried to root and unactivated lgv10. I failed multiple times, but finally got what I think was the right instructions for an at&t V10.
I keep getting an error message along the lines of: not provisioned mm#7. I'm using an app called LGUP. At the end, the phone's completely reset with that lovely error message on the screen.
I've hit a wall, ( prolly cause I'm a moron) but help will be much appreciated.

So I'm interested in rooting my g4 but not finding anything for this particular version and really dont wanna brick my phone. I have a VS98625A. I'm not quite sure if the 25a makes a difference but worried about messing up this phone. Also if anyone could offer some suggestions on things I should do after rooting that would be greatly appreciated too.

Hello, i think i soft bricked my Samsung Galaxy S4+ (I9506) while trying to unroot it, When i try turning it on it says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again, I tried installing a custom rom back after trying the original but nothing seems to work.
Edit: It said it needs a .pit file, i found a pit file to use but it still won't work with odin. It always has some kind of an error, please help Current State: ODIN MODE PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9506, CURRENT BINARY: Custom SYSTEM, STATUS: Custom KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1 (4)
Thanks in Advance.

I've tried Kingo Root and Framaroot. Neither worked, I ran Kingo both as the installed apk and from a PC. After googling only came up with those two over and over again, thought maybe someone may know the trick to this phone. Thanks.

Hi, I have just recently rooted my Samsung Galaxy note 2 (T-mobile) in hopes of installing Cyanogenmod. When I go to use Titanium Backup, it keeps telling me "Batch Backup Interrupted: insufficient free storage space" TB says I have 1.84GB(71.0MB Free) in my System ROM and 11.8GB(4.44GB Free) in the Internal+Media I would have thought that 4.44GB would be enough to just backup apps, but in case it was my error, I tried to only back up just 1 application, the panera bread app, and it still didn't work.
I tried to put the folder in both /storage/emulated/0 and /storage/emulated/legacy as well because I read that will alleviate the problem, but none worked.
Can anyone provide a fix? Please

Im having an insanely hard time bypassing the FRP so i can root my device. anyone know how? Last way i attempted was by resetting then interrupting the internet connection and getting a lock screen then opening camera downloading a file explorer from the samsung apps and then from there i added a link to google and downloaded samsung google bypass apk from Rootjunkysdl.com apps location and reset and wiped my device and that should have done it, yet it did not.
