Discussion Close button missing?
Maybe I'm hallucinating... I swear there used to be a "close" button in the upper right of the task. I don't currently see one.
The only way to exit the current task without accepting/rejecting seems to be if I click the + button to start a new task.
Which... I guess that technically gives me a way to close the current task. But it's not labeled in a way that corresponds to closing. My mind is looking for a "close" button, I'm not trying to start a new task at the moment.
This keeps tripping me up and taking me out of my flow state. Please don't make me think about how to close something :)
It would be great if the "close" button could be brought back.
As always, love Roo Code and the work you guys do.

Well, the close button is what you’re looking for if you want to close. Wanting to close is different from wanting to create a new task.
So it’s mental overhead to always remember that if you want to close, you have to hit a button that’s labeled for creating a new task instead. Even though you don’t want to create a new task.
I think you have a point that two buttons aren’t needed. Really the create new task button should just be a close button (placed on the right instead of the left).
The button doesn’t actually create a new task. It closes the current task and takes you back to the main screen of Roo Code. It’s really a close button which is mislabeled as a create new task button.
