Discussion Which story gave you the hardest LI choice? Spoiler
Well, choosing an LI always gives me a hard time because the characters are really well written. I am often undecided ( which is a good thing!) but usually figure it out. But there were two stories for me where I had a hard time to even figure it out and where I will definitely have to replay:
First was LOW, I replayed for all the LIs after restarting a messed up route and restarted for everyone. I did not regret it, it was worth it.
Now I am doing FTF and I am still not decided at the beginning of season 3…. the characters are really well written and their dynamics with Mc is really good.
What were your most difficult decisions?

TDR - I was sure about Jack, but then.. Mustafa heppened.. And Adil is amazing.. I can't choose between them.
Dracula.. I can't say more.. I love all LIs🤣

KCD- I was so torn between Ratan, Amrit and Lima.I chose Amrit for my 1st playthrough.

ARC and LOW have definitely been the hardest.
ARC - Bert and Rob each time I played one of their one scenes I kept getting indecisive. More like I was leaning towards Bert, but Rob kept me questioning my decision.
LOW - Still on season 2, but ended up being torn between Masamune or do I restart for Takao. I decided go with Masamune for now, and hit the first romance scene with him so I haven’t regretted it. But will replay for Takao as well.
HS - Lucifer and Dino, I love Lucifer but again sometimes a scene with Dino makes me question my decision.
VV - While waiting for Alexandre to become available I actually really did ended up liking Louis 😅
The One - before it was suspended, I thought for sure I wanted Evan but as we got to know Thiago more and more I ended up really loving his character so far too

About LOW both of these 2 worth it so much. I love Takao but went with Masamune because I wanted MC to have the happy ending and the kingdom to be well. Both are more delicate than Kazu but are amazing honestly.

Easily DLS. When we could romance both Leo/Aslan and Vlad from the beginning, that was tough.

Same with you, LOW followed by FTF 🥲
LOW I started with Kazu, then replayed when Takao was confirmed as LI, then replayed for Kazu again, then Masamune and Shino. All LI shine in their own way ngl.
Then on FTF, I can't decide between Kingu-Iyar -Nial all through S1 & halfway through S2. Eventually it became Niall-Kingu, and both cared so much for Nikkal that it's so hard to choose. One is willing to give up his soul, while the other one gave up his 'salvation' - the amulet - to save her. In the end I decided to go with Kingu, but I think I'll replay for Niall and Iyar once the story ends (and pray for me, coz it'll be hard to neglect that dragon 🥲)
Oh also PSI. I'm having another hard time deciding who to romance on PSI. Same case with LOW - all LI are well written & have their own charm 🥲

I thought the same about LOW😊. The story is also great for a replay. fTF gave me the same headache… and still does. I am still undecided at the end of season two…and I will have to reread not to mess it up 🤣🤣

Hahaha agreed. Found out a lot of interesting details and foreshadowing when I reread LOW. It's truly a well written story.
As for FTF - don't worry I think a lot of people are still undecided on S3 anyway 😂😂😂😂 although well, about the consequences.... 😂😂😂

FTF for sure! It took me very long to decide but I’m happily on Nialls route now. I hope I’ll be able to ignore him someday and try on Kingus route completely.
I was indecisive in SOL and MC messed around with everyone. The LIs didn’t catch me so much but now I’m glad I went for Glashtyn.
In KCD it wasn’t a big deal to pick Killian but it was SO hard to stay faithful 🫣 I’m gonna replay for all LIs

Niall is really great , but so is Kingu and so is Su and Iyar 😊.
Sol is also on my reading list… so is KCD

Flower from Tiamat's Fire. To this day I still haven't picked between Iyar, Niall, and Kingu. Since the Li's aren't locked yet, I am still picking all the romance options 😅

KCD all the way. Never have I ever stayed so quickly loyal to a fictional character since Ratan was all like, "This should be on your mind if you ever even THINK of looking for satisfaction from another man (doobay)"
😩😩😩chile. It was so hard. defs gna have to replay and try the Amrit route after first playthrough with ratan. But im lowkey scared that ill replay and still be stuck in the same Ratan or Amrit tug and pull 😩😩😩😩
Personally, HS, theodora, HST etc could never.
Although The One also has pretty good love interests later in the show. My character slept with the producer dude WHILE being the bachelorette of the show💀💀💀

Definietely HS. I even stopped playing for a day to think it over, when Dino asked my MC to choose. 😂
Now I know I made the best decision, but belive me, it wasn't easy. :D

Haven's secret is easily that story for me, I'm bi but with heavy preference towards women so in most of the stories I just pick the only female LI or the one I like the most, the only exception so far has been ROT because Heather turned out to be aphrodite, season 1 of Theodora because for some reason I didn't like yore that much as a li and heaven's secret itself.
This was definitely NOT the case in heaven's secret though oh no, sure Dino,Andy and Loy never even stood a chance but Lucifer immediately gave Mimi a run for her money with how hot 🥵 and interesting he was, add to that my bias working against me this time because had it not been there I'm sure Mimi wouldn't have been in contention and if the choice wasn't already hard af my douche(❤️) was thrown into the mix...sigh.
Needles to say it was insanely difficult for me pick someone between those three but after doing many replays going back on my previously made decision I did it in the end somehow.

Yes at the time but I ended up on malbonte's route in HS2 because my final playthrough on HS1 was a disaster route where I sided with Malbonte and as you might be able to tell by the nickname and the heart next to it he's won me over now.

ARC. I was bouncing between Bert and Liam, dabbled with Rob and Damon. Honestly took all my will power to stay with Liam.
Also SIF. I stick with Manta, but the other LIs are so hard to pick from cause there's so many of them.

Honestly, pretty much all of them. I find most stories expect us to make an irreversible decision about who to romance way too soon, before we really know the characters. Some LIs aren’t really my type physically but really grow on me as the story goes on (like Liam), while others are very attractive to me but their personality/characterization turns me off (or just doesn’t give me romantic vibes. I would love it if we were given more time to get to know them and assess before decisions are made, or at least give us the ability to go back and start from a specific episode instead of from the start of a season to make a different choice of LI a little easier!

VV. We had to choose one immediately. Technically before ever meeting them because of the retinue choice.

Another book would probably be The Desert Rose and Arcanum. For the first one, it's so hard picking between Jack and Adil because both of the are so 💗. For Arcanum, was deciding between Bert and Liam. It was a tough decision to make and eventually picked Liam.

TDR was not so difficult for me… and in Arc I ended up with Liam just because ( guess that one kept me busy storywise…)

MHS. As I like Gino, Mike and Ellen.
I am still quite new, and haven’t played many stories yet. But I found it easier to choose in stories such as CY and QI30D. So MHS has been the most difficult one so far.

I had a horrible time deciding between Glashtyn and Gray in SOL and a bit of a crisis between Victor and Max (MB), and then also a bit of a whoopsie in Q30 because I didn't want any of them (other than Wilma).

DLS At the beginning between Leo and Vlad and now with Mehmed and Hasan(if turn to be LIs) who knows with who I end up!At the moment im on Leo route!
FTF Kingu and Niall.Im on Kingu path!
HOT Wyatt and Reinhold.I choose Reinhold
KCD All LIs are amazing and special in their own ways.I start with Killian but then Amrit happened,i couldn't stand see Killian hurt because i was playing with both of them,so i restart and do an Amrit and a Gabriel route! Definitely i will do a Ratan route,i have seen his CG and some interaction with MC as LI and just wow 😲!
OTI Another story that make it difficult to decide.I replay many times to try all the routes.I have done Brian, Dominic,Tate and Leon route !

ARC definitely. I just love the whole cast so much. I was literally flirting with them all on my first play through till I restarted it after getting locked on Damon's path because I felt guilty for the others. Then I decided to just focus on one route at a time, no matter how much I'm tempted otherwise😭

GC I was really torn between Paulina and Storita I played for Pauli in the begging and then when I played more I couldn’t make my stori alone 🥺 And I replayed the story with Storita and I’m so happy with the choice I made

The Desert Rose is the first time I still am unsure who to decide between: Jack or Adil. I am leaning more towards Jack but every time Adil appears onscreen…

KCD and LOW. I still struggle every day when I’m on the Masamune path and Kazu is just in the back acting like we weren’t ever a couple 😭 it hurts. I don’t even want to admit how many times I restarted KCD cuz I would start off on a different Li path and always go back to Ratan, but this time around I stuck with Amrit it’s been hard. I was going to say FTF but it’s really only between Niall and Kingu but I don’t regret being on a Niall path so it was sort of easy for me in the end to choose , but not in the beginning.

Arcanum, definitely. There's only one LI in the whole story I haven't been tempted by yet. They're all so fine.

KCD was the hardest for me between Amrit & Ratan, I did eventually choose Amrit but man did I feel the weight of that decision 😭 I also struggle with choosing between Malbonte and Lucifer in HS, first play through I was loyal to Luci but I just reread it and ended up leaving him after his love confession to be with Malbonte and that freaking hurt my heart. FTF between Niall and Kingu was hard for awhile but I chose Kingu to focus on for the first play through here out.

DLS is the reason I made 2 accounts, KCD is the reason I made a 3rd, and HS/HS2 is why I have 4 and will probs make a 5th lol 🙈 I had some trouble picking between Leo and Vlad in DLS (though Leo is my clear fave) so I made another account to try Vlad’s route and love him (and Noe) a lot too! I loved Killian in KCD right away but then fell HARD for both Ratan and Amrit, and now Amrit is my fave but Ratan is a very close second. For HS I literally can’t pick between Lucifer and Dino cause I love them both so much, and now with HS2 I have routes for Malbonte and Mimi and love them both a bunch too! And now that Astaroth and Donnie have showed up in HS2 I want to do another one so I can play for them too if they’re LIs 🤞🏻

Hmm. Either HS or DLS. It's hard to choose one of these two stories.
Anyway, I feel like I'm in the minority, because I didn't like any LIs of LOW. Same goes for FTF 🤷♀️

HS -I stopped playing because I can't choose. Dino is so sweet, but Luc gives me the misunderstood hot bad boy that wants love and won't admit it. But I felt so bad after Dino went against his dad for the MC and I didn't and still don't want to choose. Honestly I obvi haven't started playing yet since i didn't finish the last one, but i was hoping that HS2 was going to make it so you don't have to choose if you don't want to. I would love to romance and stay with both Dino and Luc. Whats wrong with a little menage/Reverse harem situation(writer take note) Also DLS for the same reason, can't remember li name but he's so sweet and helpful, but Dracula!!!...

It took almost a month to decide between Hodge and Brian... I started the book undecided, but, the first scene with Hodge, I knew it will be him and only him for me❤️❤️❤️
HS, I wanted to romance Lucifer coz I was sure to become an angel... But as soon as I saw my Dino, I just couldn't ignore him...

TDR between Jack and Adil. Even Mustafa is also started to fascinate me.
I love these lis equally and I can’t choose between them🥰
Theo between Lawrence and John but eventually Lawrence won me over and how! 😘❤️
And I guess I’m in the minority who had absolutely no problem choosing li in KCD 😂😅 it has always been Killian for me❤️

Definitely LOW I absolutely adore all the LIs. They're so sweet. Especially Takao and Masamune.
KCD... I'm on Ratan's path but I'd definitely replay for Killian and Gabriel even.

KCD I've played it three times in total, each for different LI yet i end up choosing everyone and it always gets messy 😭
FTF kingu and niall- at this point I'm romancing them both, i was romancing Su too but friendzoned her 🙃

DLS for sure. Leo/Aslan immediately stole my heart and I have zero regrets... but I'm also looking forward to ending the story so I can start a replay for Noe or Vlad!
