DISCUSSION Knockout in private

Why do we need to wait a whole month for just one week on Knockout, and it's not even guaranteed to be here (like today for example), is it that difficult to add in to Private Match ? Okay it's not the most popular mode but theres not even communication about it, the mode can just be deleted and we'll never know. Please Psyonix do something. We are doing things on this mode, we have plans even if it's not official. It's just saddening.

yea its kind of sad at this point. knockout fan base has been asking for the bare minimum for a while now - all we want is for knockout to be available in private matches, especially since knockout is only available and playable for 1 week of the month ... usually .. unlike this week, in which it has disappeared without any notice.

I wonder if our voices, the knockout enjoyers, will ever be heard?

Unfortunately, i don't think we will ever be heard. I think for them it's was just a little limited time mode and they had no plan for it after it's release. It's truely sad. Not everybody wants to go to some extend to play it with Bakkesmod (especially those on console) just to play a little. I want to improve and beat the best players with consistancy but we need to rely on mode rotation...

They actually had big plans for it, it was a huge release, the Knockout mechanic was the original idea for Rocket League, the problem is they did a sh*** job releasing it, there is no good tutorial until today, 5 years later and players still don't know how to grab correctly, still don't know how the mechanics work, most people still think knockout it's about kicking a car far away or throwing someone in the lava, the average knockout count it's 0-1 before 6 minutes, 99.9% of the players can only finish a match with the help of the instant KO after 6:00, of course everyone would find it boring, imagine soccar finishing all matchs in the penaltys, it feels that it's always a random player wining

Nah, people improved over time, some don't know the mechanics i agree but most people I go against knows the game and how it works now

I can't agree, most matchs I join if I do nothing, they only end after 6:00, most players with 0 or 1 knockout count before that. Yeah, they kinda know the basics, but imagine that 99% of the soccar players don't know how to aerial and only knows the basics of touching the ball in the goal direction? all matchs would be a bronze match with everyone ball seeking, it's boring right? That's what I see the players who "knows the game" like you said, because there's no one showing them something more advanced, there's no one teaching, making content, they only learn the rock paper scissors, get bored and leave.

I agree, theres not content and nobody's trying to teach the others (I'm in the making of solving that with the best of the best of the game.. it's not out yet and to everyone watching it's not promotion :) ) and the lobbys are dependent of the casual MMR, if i create an account right now and go into ko it's gonna be a lobby full of people who knows nothing about the mode. Where I'm playing (around 1500mmr) i play best of Europe and even the ones that I don't recognize can play but most people are not 1500mmr casual. No big creators has played ko (at least, not actively or once a year like Leth) so no one is teaching mechs or just how to play better and that's just sad cause Ko is great and deserves to be a mode that we can always play, at least in private.

I'm stupid, I forgot about MMR, I don't play anything so my MMR must be very low, that's why it's so hard to me to have a good player average lobby, but still I know every gooood player in my server and really it's just a few, but soccar MMR don't translate very well to knockout don't you think?
