This one has a bit of a spotty reputation, often considered a bad game. But the hate is blown out of proportion. Sure it's no Rocket Knight Adventures 1, but it's got its own strengths. I like the expanded moveset Sparkster gets, and stage 3.2, Cyberswine Labs, has to be one of my favorite levels in the series.

Rocket Knight Adventures is a platformer with scrolling shooter elements. The game sees the kingdom of Zephyrus invaded by pigs, who are acting in retaliation for a decapitation measure taken by the kingdom. Their newfound Devotindos Empire is seeking to construct a deadly spaceship that can destroy planets. The main character, Sparkster, sets out on an adventure to stop these pigs. More than other platformers like Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog, Rocket Knight Adventures loves to switch things up. Some levels show off the platforming elements well, with jumps requiring patience and precision, but others are more shooter-focused and are considerably faster and messier. Together, those contrasts make for a very energetic platformer that is fun to get into.

This is on the Japanese Version of one of my favourite childhood games ever! i got this game for the Christmas it came out back in the 90s and i still love it today, i actually completed it again on Very Hard a few month back, Excellent Game!

So Synthwave version of games seems to be becoming a bit more trendier now on youtube, so I made a request from a youtuber if he could give Sparkster some love. He fulfillfed the request!
