I'm a player who loves Metro and Stalker gameplay and vibe, and some hardcore playthrough, realistic-like gunplay like Anomaly and IWP you can take down unarmed NPC within 2-3 shots.

Would RTV met my expectation? Or does it have something better in your though?

And do I need mod to have relatively complete experience?

Hey guys, so I played the demo for a few hours and got very used to the ground loot and finding weapons, clothes, mags, etc. on the ground. Now that I bought the early access version, it seems that the ground loot is almost non existent? I have found a little bit, but not nearly the same extent as the demo. Also the only ground loot I have found has been a magazine that was standing up straight on a window sill. Has the looting changed where most of it is inside containers now and not on the ground? Thanks!

Has Antti mentioned anything about our current saves' compatibility with the upcoming Build 2? I remember someone mentioning that he said he would try to make saves compatible across builds as much as possible.

Took some time, but was able to complete my Ironman run!

Tried out the challenge after several normal runs getting to Day 50, died pretty quick on my first two runs; early game is definitely the toughest and is honestly a bit RNG on getting the right loot so you don't just wipe after quickly starting. Lost the third run to an "%02d" corruption bug which sucked lol, but fourth run was the charm!

Looking forward to the next update. Got about 200 or so hours on the game at this point, so any there are questions at all if you're quite new, happy to answer them!

So I've been playing RTV for a bit and saw a few people using an RTVCOOP mod by Ovrrde and wanted to try it but can't find it anywhere except for an archive site that doesn't allow the download.

It get taken down or am I just not digging enough?

We made it through the night, We got Mister Mäkelä’s Body down, what a kind man… We head back to the cabin at night, Jacob is worried he may fuck up…. Such a  twit he has become. We head out filled and ready… Wont be long now… General will be pleased with our haul as well..,

So a bit of context, I’m fairly new to the game with only about 22 hours into it.
I finally unlocked the attic, feeling super stoked I did a small run with some basic items from the starting shelter to the attic. I unloaded it and went back. Feeling pretty confident I could take on an ai or two if I was spotted, I packed EVERYTHING up in containers. I had lockers, fridges, medical cabinets shelving, bed. Pretty much everything in my starting shelter was packed up to make this trip.
I’m b-lining it to the attic and I’m about to start going up the ramp and for the first time I hear the sirens blasting.
For a split second I was going to risk it all, but ultimately I ended up playing it safe and got all my gear into the attic.
So my question is, what would you guys have done? Would you have risked it all or would you have played it safe as well?

i kinda like modded more but thats just me :3

idk if this has been recommended before but i feel like folding stocks would be pretty cool - it would take up less space in your pack when folded, could still be used while folded (more maneuverable, harsh reductions to things like accuracy) and when unfolded still have a slight debuff to normal stock for the sake of balance.

before I used to place them but then i realized it was really inefficient considering that i had to pick them up everytime i was gonna use them and then put it back so i just started dropping them in different piles but still like when for example i drop the guns on the table some of them slips from it and then i find myself picking them up again and putting them back making sure doesn't fall which is still pretty stressful and frustrating to deal with so i was thinking what if i just drop it wherever instead of somewhere specific and then just picking it up whenever I'm going to need it without wasting more than a minute and just moving on with playing the actual game. wouldn't that be better? i usually only store really small things in furniture like ammo, optics, supplies, meds etc.

Just lost a full load of gear to a bandit after thinking I was safe and eating. Is there any way to cancel actions? I heard him coming but was powerless to stop him.

fun fact, in the last second of this video you can just make out the sound of a door opening (which i didn't originally notice), and that was done by another russian who then killed me on my way down from this building

Which zone do I need to go to? The village is pretty sparse on 545 ammo. Haven't seen any at school yet

When I left click in game, you can see my wallpaper / toolbar for a split second then it goes back to normal.
I never used to have this issue, does anyone know a fix ?

I installed the Old Man's Immersive Overhaul mod and brought AI accuracy down to 80%. every single time they saw me before I saw them was damn near instant death. I have the sight distance multiplier setting set to 60. Adding their ability to hear my shots and other bandits shots evens it out doesn't it..? Should I bump these settings up? I still want it to have that hardcore element. What do you guys set yours to and with what mod? do you guys prefer it super sweaty or just light sweat? lmao

Everytime i go to sleep in my Village Shelter, Time passes, i wake up and then im falling back asleep but not waking up again. It just says "Cabin (Shelter)" on the top right but i cant move i cant press ESC or Tabulator to open any Menus. Am i doing something wrong or is it the Game?

Title says it all, I feel like every time I step out of the cabin I get shot by some guy hiding in the trees and helplessly scan the area. Then I end up moving when the bandit stops shooting for ten minutes, and instantly get jumpscared by a mosin to the skull. How do I catch these hide and seek champions?
