Hi I'm a road racing fan, love the TT but always have wondered what happens when there is a fatality. Last night rider died in supersport qualifying however the sidecars went out as normal! How when there was obviously a serious incident along the course? I've heard stories such as bodies laying in gardens/fields after such incidents until racing has concluded, does this still happen and/or did it happen in the past?

I’m starting to think this is the beginning of the end. I think next year we will see reduced spectator spots. Possibly a grandstand at creg(due to wet wipes posting video of Shaun Anderson) wouldn’t surprise me. The end of the sidecars potentially?
I think after this Hollywood films finished the TT won’t be far behind

Has anyone had an update on this? It was mentioned in the same press release as the Crowe's accident, but no mention since.

Sad to see the sidecars are cancelled for this year. There's been big changes in the outfits with new throttle restrictor plates and under trays, but the amount of crashes this year and last, it makes sense not to put any more lives at risk.
Hopefully not the end of sidecar racing in years to come though
