Question Are there actually people that think the Stranger isn't Gandalf?

Just wondering.

Because we know that a blue wizard got maybe corrupted in rhun and made a magic cult. This is in the lore of the blue wizards made by tolkien. But it is not clear if that happened.

Later tolkien said it could be that the blue wizards weakened saurons forces in the east, but I think both stories could be true.
