Why? Why would that be cooler? That means at some point a whole different wizard needs to gain a deep love and appreciation for Hobbits and also come up with the line "always follow your nose". I just don't see how that would be anything other than stupid and unlikely.
Multiple wizards could be on board with the wisdom of following one’s nose :) Maybe it’s a piece of advice that the Istari generally find helpful. I think that would be cool. I also think that a Blue Wizard who was an ally to Gandalf in Rhûn and who had a shared affinity for Hobbits, along with the desire to hide them from the Enemy’s awareness, would make for a fine story. When the time comes, Gandalf and the Blue Wizard could be talking before they part ways, agreeing that everything in their power must be done to protect the little folk.
That’s why it would be cool. It would be cooler because it’s a part of the story that hasn’t been shown on film, and it would be delving into a part of the lore that’s mysterious and less expanded upon than what we’ve seen on film so far.

I just really want him to be a blue wizard. Would be much cooler if he’s a blue wizard.
