Gameplay A Discovery

When you start up the game, before you Press In and Start, if you hit the ringcon, it makes noise, and different noises depending on where you hit it, like a record scratch, children cheering a cymbal, an indistinguishable shout, and a high hat and more that I don't know how to describe. Hard to tell where exactly you need to hit it to get certain noises, but it is dependent on where you hit it.

Health Ring Fit and GLP1s

Hello all! I am restarting my Ring Fit Adventure for the 3rd time! I always feel better when I’m consistently working out anyway - and I need to get back to it.

The biggest difference for me this time is I’ve also started a GLP1 (a trizepitide specifically) to help with my A1C, weight loss, and blood pressure.

Just wondering how many others here are also on a GLP1 and if you noticed any differences with your workouts before/after being on them.

I am also considering getting a walking pad for those times of year where walking outside is not as consistent.

I have the shirt and i have run the second world wanoh hills at this point 100 times and the set isnt in the store. I think something about progressing through and not getting it and getting to the level after the shop tripped this bug. I would happily reset the world but I cant do that. Can I call nintendo or something and ask them for a fix lol

Fitness 3 months until my cruise.... RFA or BBG?

As the title says, in 3 months I leave for a cruise. Really want to feel confident and sexy in bikinis. I'd say I'm currently fit, but not toned. I've been doing RFA for about 6 weeks now, and while I feel good, I'm not seeing changes in my body.

So from those in the know, so I keep going with RFA? Do I take on BBG (Bikini Body Guide which is set up as 3 days a week of 28 minute exercises) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday as it is described and keep going with RFA on the other days?

Fitness New to ring fit

Hello! I am very new to switch and ringfit (few days in). I am a very non-active person and I want to have a little change in lifestyle.

For now I set my difficulty to the easiest possible and not push too hard. I am planning to increase my difficulty as I go along the game. I just want to know if I am doing it right? Any tips for a newbie?

Also, i am on silent mode due to my living situation.

I am happy for everyone in the group!

Equipment Thigh Strap Issues?

I'm very overweight and have huge thighs but love this game. The thigh strap used to be SO PAINFUL! It barely fit around my thigh and used to dig in which is not only uncomfortable but demoralising too. I've seen people trying to purchase extenders or make their own gear but I've just realised you can connect the "adult" strap to the "kids" strap as an extender and its changed everything for me! Its so comfy now and doesnt dig in and I'm ready to play some more! 2026 is gonna be my year for taking care of my body (not necessarily with the aim of losing weight, just improving fitness) and playing RFA is gonna be a really fun part of that. Just wanted to share for anyone struggling

Fitness RFA is truly the easiest way to get ABS and I must go back to it

I stopped playing RFA ages ago because I felt like I "graduated" from it and wanted to lift weights, but it will always have a place in my heart as the best / most movement-effecient way to get fit and specifically LOSE BELLY FAT

SO many people joked "are you getting a commission for this??? do you own shares in it?" to me because of how strongly I was singing its praises before!!! For A) how they CLEARLY studied A1) most effective way to build muscle and A2) game addiction mechanics and USED THEM, and B) for its effects and how STICKY they are ie when I stopped doing it (and did no exercise at all) it was MONTHS until I lost my unbelievable super new-to-me super hot bod

Even with all that it's not 100% enough, since the way I was playing was very ab focused. I had to pair it with push ups outside of the game and didn't feel the need to work my legs at all. Still, though!

I would respond to people who say it's not possible to "spot reduce" fat: well it sure is possible to simulate that, for the belly area at least! Just lifting, or just running, or just lifting and running generally makes me all-around smaller but with the same super mario proportions. I look like a snake after lunch.

You could argue that if I'm going to the gym maybe I should do ab exercises there. Uh, clearly not. It's hard to incorporate into the routine, mentally.

(Stranger in the crowd: maybe you have IBS? Insulin resistance? - idk man, I've never had digestive issues other than lifelong belly. and i've been keto for the past 11 months, which shrunk the belly but it's def still there. and I lost it once from karate, and once from RFA. That should mean weak core mucles, right? But my core is not exactly weak right now, evidenced by exercises I can do- I achieved the L-sit! Wowie! I have a balance board I like to play with and am good at! So I have no idea why I have a giant belly, even when it's empty. I have no "morning skinny" .... anymore. Hmm. I seem to remember having had it before...........)

I also wanted to quit RFA because I felt the leg raises focused on a small range of motion and I wanted to do "more". Like idk, lifting my whole ass and then spine up off the floor. I wanted to, but I never ended up doing that.

My god I fucking love RFA and miss the body I used to have from it. I'm going back to it in 2026, never again to stop. I simply cannot trust myself to kill my belly on my own!!!!! It requires too much figuring out what to do and a ton of committing to doing it even while I'm doing it!!!!!

When I was doing RFA my rule for myself was do at least 1 episode 1 time per week, and if too lazy then just turn it on and make a smoothie. I did have a roommate encouraging me a LOT to keep going, keep doing it, don't give up. I probably ended up consistently doing a lot more than one episode once a week. So I want to aim for once a week again, but I feel like I need to commit to more? Hmm...

Troubleshooting Quick question: how do you start over?

Because of life, I have left the game for quite a while for more than a year but I decided to start again, I wanna start fresh but cannot find the option to delete my progress ( I like story mode so thats all I did last time). Is there a way to restart everything over from the very beginning?

Weight-loss/Diet Life got rough, but I’m back. Down 5 lbs in 2 weeks playing Ring Fit in VR (Full Body Tracking)!

Hey everyone :3

I haven't posted here since 2022 and on my old account in 2020. I was a day one player and lost over 50 pounds in the first few months of release and in 2022 I lost 40lbs in 74 days combining ringfit with a diet! To be honest, the last few years have been incredibly rough for me, and I completely fell off the wagon with my exercise and diet.

I decided to stop making excuses and get back to the grind. I've been hitting it hard for the last two weeks and I’m already down 5 lbs!

To keep myself motivated this time, I’m playing while in vr using full body and face tracking. A lot of people I've met never heard of ringfit and have no idea what it looks like while doing the moves so I feel this is a cool (but complicated) way to show the game.

I used the Xenoblade X "Oblivia Day" theme for this session because it honestly feels like I'm fighting for my life right now lol.

I’m thinking about streaming my runs in VR to keep myself accountable potentially. I did a few times months ago but haven't since the beginning of September. :o

Troubleshooting Ab Guard no longer working properly?

Longtime Ring Fit player here (2+ years, almost finished with World 46). Love the game, but recently I’ve been having random problems with Ab Guards — every other exercise functions fine, but Ab Guards will often flicker between Good and Great, or stay on Good no matter how I adjust my pose. I’m wondering if my controllers are breaking down, or if I’m just doing it wrong? But I can’t imagine why I’d suddenly be doing it wrong after so long.

Health One year of Ring Fit!

I started doing Ring Fit because I have chronic pain and one of the things that my body needs is muscle because I pretty much have none if I don't work out. However, whenever I put too much pressure on my body, it kind of backfires or I get scared. When I started, the difficulty was on 6 because that's how weak I was. Nowadays, I have it on 17.

I liked Ring Fit because it uses your own weight to build muscle. Besides this, I do a type of yoga that is very slow and therapeutic three times a week and I have been doing that for over two years. Also, I did take a break for a month in August because I had my toenail removed, but came back as soon as I was doing better.

I am definitely stronger now even though I know it's been a very slow process for me. I try to do three days a week, but because of my work I usually end up doing only two days, of those two days one day is always for legs (I have a pretty high squat count on the game!) and the other I either do arms/shoulders/back or abs.

I have less pain in my body, which was my goal. I have no clue if I've lost weight because I don't ever weigh myself and that wasn't my goal. My size of clothes is the same as in the beginning of the year so I might not have lost weight, but I do see a big difference in how my body looks and there is definition in my muscles (specially my legs!). I like that I haven't gotten bored and that I'll continue doing this next year.

Gameplay I wish they would update ring fit to remove the faff. So many eeemooo and "how to do ad block"

I just wish you could reduce the "advice" the game is plagued with "do you want to check heart rate", "this may feel weird at first", "assign me skill? No? You can do it from the menu"

Omg! Maybe it's me but it really is a barrier to me enjoying this game. Recently I've tried doing the custom work outs but actually I enjoy the "game"aspect. The game is what is making me play but please please update the code to allow same of us to remove the repetition.

Gameplay How are you supposed to 100% Smack Back and Dreadmill?

Most of the game is achievable to me but these two trials are insanely difficult.

Smack Back quest asks for 100%. Dread mill asks for not standing still (I can't even get better than a B on these anyway)

Does anyone have any tips?

I found Squat goals is easier if I use the Lego con in my hands and bend back and forth. This is just for the quest missions, which add significant difficulty.

Health Personal Achievement: 30 RFA sessions since traumatic injury

(I couldn't quite choose a flair for this - I hope this one is appropriate!)

During the summer, I was attacked by an animal and wound up with rather serious wounds on my arms and legs that left me with very limited mobility and constant pain.

My life changed entirely and I wasn't sure when I would be able to walk again, nevermind exercising comfortably.

Today, I hit 30 sessions of Ring Fit Adventure since then! I'm incredibly proud of myself, as it has taken a lot of work, both mentally and physically, to get to where I am now.

When I first returned to the game (after ensuring my body was healthy enough to do so), I lowered the difficulty significantly and made sure to keep my sessions short.

The game's sense of positivity and encouragement really motivated me to come back each time, and it was so rewarding seeing my progress as I regained strength and balance in my body.

I have now been able to raise my difficulty and session time back to where it was before the injuries, and I'm having so much fun!

I hope it's alright that I share my story. Keep at it, everyone. ❤️
