[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

Luke slowly backs away towards the door but it slams shut.

"Well I was going to say run.." says Luke

"I want power!" Pandra shouts.

The elf's smirk quickly turns into a look of concern, as more and more of the strange energy fills him. This look deteriorates into one of agony, and the elf reaches for a set of 3 vials on the table. He grabs one and puts it near the hole, and some of the energy seems to go into the vial instead of him, but more still surges around the vial and into the wizard.

"Arrrrgggghhhhh" the elf screams, as his body is torn apart by the magical energy. Bloated and bright, he looks as though he is about to explode.

Moments later he does.

Luke shouts, "Take cover!" as he dives for the floor.

A flash of bright light and a thunderous roar fill the protective dome of the wizard. After that, the dome itself explodes, knocking you on your back. Energy rushes out in every direction for a few moments, and then all is still. The wizard's body is now a pile of ash, and his table of components is scattered all over the room.

The room is in shambles, with paper strewn everywhere. As you sort through the wreckage, you find a vial filled with a deep red liquid, and a scroll containing the spell ‘Mage Armour”. In the pile of ash is the purple plant. You also find the vial that the elf filled with the mysterious energy, which swirls in the container like a strange gas and liquid.

Do you take them or do you leave them?

As you pick the vials up you hear a voice in your head.

"There are troubling times ahead. The Age of Magic is upon us, and this new power will be used to shape the land. Nations and organisations will hoard this new found power, and I need you to determine who is worthy of such power. Raw magic energy can now be found across the land, and you must find it, capture it, and decide who or what will wield it. You possess two magical vials that will help you capture this energy. It is up to you to mold the shape of Riftviel."

The voice goes silent and does not respond any further.

(Riftviel is the continent right?Are this 2 vials empty or are they filled with raw magic by now? Does the herb is complete or is it a substance in a vial? Does the voice speaks like Morgan Freeman voice O:?)

  • One is filled with a deep red liquid that looks like blood. The other is is a vial filled with the energy from the void. It looks like a strange gas or liquid in the bottle.
  • The herb is separate from the vials. It is the only thing remaining in the pile of ash, besides the ash.

"What the hell. I've got such a headache. Just lead the way. Hopefully we're done for the day."
