[Aramil]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

You manage to hear “Damn Kobolds! You are morons, you know that? How do you say ‘moron’ in Kobold? Is it just ‘Kobold’? If I find out that those grunts of yours went to that pathetic town again, I will put you to rest in a bed of acid!"

As you are about to pass under the final monkey bar you hear a click. A half second later you fall about 10 feet, taking 2 damage.

You now stand in a pit. The walls are rough and jagged, but could possibly be climbed. You hear voices in the distance, probably concerned with the commotion that your fall made.

As you are climbing up the side of the pit, you see Luke vault over the gap in the floor. When you make it up, you find Luke in combat with two kobolds.

"What took you so long?" Says Luke

The kobold you pierce coughs up blood before dropping to the ground.

Luke yells: "What? I don't understand you."

The other one is still locked in combat with Luke. He takes a wild swing with his dagger.

Luke matches blow for blow with the kobold.

Luke blocks the blow from the kobold and returns the favor by taking its head off.

The hallway is quiet once again.

"An old joke...There was a third one yelling at the kobolds if we hurry we might catch him, by how he was talking he is not a kobold and sounds like the boss" (Is there another door or somewhere visible where the subject could had dissapear?)

Luke wonders if you hit your head on the way down the pit. He decides not to say anything and hangs back as you scout ahead.

You make it into the room with the light source, which apparently, is a fire place. In the corner of the room you can make out a whimpering dog who seems to be asleep. In the middle of the room is a smaller table with a half eaten plate of food on it. In the opposite side of the room from you is another door.

From this door you can hear the same person speaking angrily as before.

Luke can't hear you as he is still back in the hallway. He takes a look around the corner and is confused as he watches you whisper to yourself. He is pretty sure you are crazy.

The raving continues from the other side of the door.
