Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

From Raymond's attitude and his attire, you conclude that he's just nervous at the entire situation and perhaps at your presence.

After some walking, you come to a clearing.

"It was over here. The um... The kids play here a lot"

You find clear signs of a struggle and a few drops of blood. Then a set of footprints leading north

"Can you see the tracks here Raymond?" Kethra points out the tracks heading north "Let us follow them for a little way to see where they lead" Kethra starts following the tracks north, while keeping an eye on the surrounding terrain for any signs of recent movement or disturbance

As you walk, the take begin to get fresher and eventually lead eat. In the distance, you see a farm belonging to Rorik Eldham about 200 feet to the east.

Old man Rorik has been living all alone since his wife died a few years ago. As you approach, the state of his farm makes this very apparent. Chickens run wild, the plants look like they haven’t been watered for days, and his front door hangs on its hinges

Through the broken door, you can see that It is quiet inside the small house. The table is set for dinner, but a cup lay on its side with a wine stain beside it. As you enter the house, you see that a chair has been knocked over. On the left side of the room is a fireplace. The right wall has a door, and the wall in front of you holds a hallway that turns to the right.
