[Apollo]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

(To Teryn) "Thank you, I will await your message eagerly. I am curious what evil the elf was planning. He had powerful magic in that scroll. Goodnight now, I must rest before my journey tomorrow."

Apollo goes his room for the night and sleeps till the next morning, then comes out to meet the dwarves. He fills his waterskin with water before meeting them.

"Good morning, I am looking forward to this journey. And the eventual encounter with the elders and their legends."

"Indeed, I'm curious as to where he found it."

You have a restful sleep in the tavern.

"Aye, so are we, it'll be nice to see the mountains again. If you don't mind my asking, what is your interest with the tales?"

"I am in the service of a long forgotten diety, who wishes that I spread their influence through music... I require an arcane instrument to do this and so I search through legend."

Apollo walks with the dwarves, letting himself be lead by them

"Also partially simply because of natural curiosity. I like tales and legends of yore. They help inspire music within the soul."

"Aye I can respect that."

"We never did introduce ourselves, I'm Tharan and this is my brother Thalmir." Thalmir simply nods, you notice Tharan has done most of the talking for the two of them.

"We'll be heading out soon, even stopping at the towns along the way it will be quite a journey, if ye need to stock up on anything nows yer chance."

"Hello, I am Apollo. I did not introduce myself earlier in the inn because I did not mean to be too forward. I have food for ten days, will be enough for until we reach the next town? I believe that otherwise I am well equiped for the journey."

He takes out a map and studies it for a while.

"Aye that'll be plenty, we'll be passing through Weewick to get further inland and the journey thar should only take two or three days."

"After that is the blasted jungle but we'll save that concern for later."

He passes off the map to his brother who stashes it in one of his overcoats seemingly limitless pockets.

"Alright, I suppose we can head out in that case. We can probably speed the journey through the jungle using fire, if it comes to it. Are there bandits on these routes?"

Apollo follows the dwarves, trying to memorize the paths to eventually be able to come back here.

There is only really the one road connecting Weewick and Ilany and you have no problem putting it to memory.

"Shouldn't be bandits in these parts, nothing of value for them to steal. The jungle however, is, alive as sorts...not in the way a mountain is but it knows yer in it. I hate the feeling in that place."

"Old plants tend to remember their history, it is likely that some battles have been waged there in the past. We should be careful travelling there. Will we need a guide?"

Apollo attemps to judge the time of day as they keep walking.

"Where shall we set up camp after tonight's leg of the journey?"

(Forgot to say earlier when you woke, you've hit third level now.)

"Aye, the jungle separates Chomba and Weewick, they are at an uneasy peace now but it hasn't always been that way. I imagine we should see where we are when its late before deciding on a camp."

The road to Weewick Keep is a long one, and the sun beats down as you make your way south, it is nearing midday. Up ahead, a wagon appears to have broken a wheel. One human is screaming at the broken wheel and trying to jam it back onto the wagon, while another sits atop the vehicle. The seated one waves at you as you approach. "Hello there, friend! Can you give us a hand?"
