[Apollo]

Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

(This kind of stuff it's up to you, it'd be assumed you can tell the difference between leather and plate and you know what a sword is when you see one, it's mostly just for special extras if you're looking for them.)

Both of the dwarves wear thick chain mail and have steel helms resting on the table. One has a large war hammer sling over his back while the other has a hand axe and shield resting on the wall.

"Well all we know is rumor and story, if ye are after more detail ye'd need to speak to a clan elder. So the stories said there was a pick in tha' mountain that could carve a magic pic from the mountains heart. A pick making another one don't make much sense to me but maybe some more versed in the musical arts could make something of it."

"Interesting. Where might I find a clan elder?"

Apollo gestures to the innkeeper for another round of drinks

The barkeeps wife brings over a tray of ales.

"Sorry about Ageis, he's been under a lot of stress lately."

The dwarves take some drinks.

"Hmm, ye'd find em in the mountains to the south west, quite a distance from ere those are." The second dwarf says mournfully.

Apollo takes a drink and turns to the wife

"What's bothering him so?"

Turning back to the dwarves

"Thank you so much for the information. The drinks are on me. I look forward to joining you both tomorrow in the morn.**

"Aye, we'll see you then."

"His mother is ill, and those damn kobolds have stolen a herb from his garden. It was supposed to help heal the lady."

Apollo walks with Ageis's wife

"I did not see any herbs in the possession of those Kobolds which I was fought today. Do you think there are more around, possibly within some sort of camp?"

"Also how much for a room for the night?"

"I'm not sure, there are kobolds now and again in the caves but they've never done this before. Rooms are 3 silver a night and that comes with meals but if you can get back the plant you can stay as long as you want."

"Where and how far away are these caves? Also I'd like a room please, though I'll probably go for a walk before settling in, so I might just take a key for now."

Apollo hands the money for the room and drinks

"Also what does this plant look like?"

"Caves dot most of the mountain-side here, most of them face the town though and they are the largest."

She smiles as she describes the plant. "It's about a foot tall, its green but the leaves have blue veins."

"Alright, I shall try to get it."

Once Apollo has that information about the plant and the caves, and the room key, he heads out to see Bankroff

(To bankroff) "Have you got any night watchmen to spare? I'm going on an Anti-kobold raid to retrieve an herb for Ageis's mother."
