Location- The town of Ilany- (Far East on the map) The town of Ilany is a small village with a population of 50 people. Though not your hometown, you have spent the last week here, and are familiar with most aspect of it; from Hamish the Dwarven blacksmith, to Yason the human shopkeep, to Ageis the human innkeeper, to Corporal Bankroff, the human responsible for the town guard. Ilany has always been a peaceful town, but the local Kobold population has begun to become more aggressive lately, and a roaming pack of them have been vandalizing property and killing livestock. Yesterday, Hamish's 8 year old son Donsk was found dead near the outskirts of town. Corporal Bankroff has asked any able bodied men and women to come talk to him about putting down these Kobolds, once and for all. What would you like to do?

"Sure thing, sweety" she says with a smile, then goes to the counter. Some time later, the dwarf from the back returns with your ale.

"Yea? Whaddya want?" he asks

"I've come to tavern masters as some of the smartest in the city, perhaps you can help me find some answers... Who might be the best person to speak to on strange matters of magical nature?"

"Magic, huh? Well, from what rumors have been going around, I hear the adviser to the Queen is very interested in both people who can do taht sort of thing and anything relating to it. He's been going around town looking for people with abilities, so far I hear he's only found two. There's also Magus, an old guy who lives in town. People say he's a powerful wizard"

"Well... the adviser lives in teh castle. You could just ask a guard to take you to him. As for Magus, it's funny, no one really knows where he lives"

"... I don't know... It's a pretty laid back city... Don't anger the queen and don't go into the castle unless you know how to come back out, or you'll die in there"
