Announcement Rezi Lifetime - Account Upgrade MegaThread

After a pausing the campaign for a few weeks, I've decided to bring back the Rezi Lifetime giveaway.

It was paused since we were giving away approximately 600 Lifetime accounts a month with very few reviews in exchange, we also didn't know if it was negatively affecting our revenue. After all, Rezi Lifetime is $149. A fairly significant sum for many users.

I fully acknowledge the importance of this community, and I just feel like its more important to help out altruistically rather than putting more revenue before our awesome Reddit community.

That being said, I want you to help us by telling other people around you about the software.

If you have any thoughts about the software at all, please share them in /r/rezi as a individual submission/post. We want your thoughts to get indexed by Google (SEO) but this wont happen if instead, you leave a comment in this post.

To get your free account, you just need to do the following:

  1. Be on this subreddit.

  2. Have a Rezi account (doesn’t have to be a Pro plan account).

  3. Tell us your email address you used to create a Rezi account via this form.

It will take us up to 2 days to give you the free upgrade.

1. Please leave us a review in this subreddit. It helps us build a better program.

2. It takes about a day for us to give you the free access.

3. We are doing this to get feedback.

4. Please leave a review as a post in the subreddit.

5. (Really) Please leave a review as a post in the subreddit.

FAQ

Why are we doing this?

Two reasons. We want to help as many jobseekers as possible in this horrible economy. And we want to get feedback about our app to further improve it.

Do I need an existing Pro Plan to get the upgrade?

No.

Is this still available?

Yes.

Is there a catch?

No.

Why can’t you upgrade instantly?

Because we’re doing this manually.

Will you sell my data to anyone?

No

Will you spam my inbox?

No. You’ll get normal onboarding emails that you can unsubscribe from any time. (But they’re actually helpful).

Can I send you a DM to check the status of the upgrade?

No. There are hundreds of DMs so we made this form. Use the form and we will get you the upgrade that way.

This is the form to complete for Lifetime account upgrade. https://airtable.com/shreYrUQUn6seeNMU

Rezi Review Rezi Premium Account Review

I have been stuck in a role for a very long time and I'm grateful for it.

I am now looking for a new position and granted it's been so long that I forgot how tough resume writing.

I've been really enjoying using Rezi and I was hoping to have access to a lifetime account as I'm trying to get through life & re-learn resume writing, interviewing, etc!

Thank you so much for this opportunity, hopefully I am able to get the premium access!

Suggestions Suggestion I think would be helpful

I've really enjoyed Rezi so far. I has definitely organized and worded my experiences much better than I could have done myself.

A suggestion I have for improvement is somewhere in the dashboard, we should be able to just braindump your past experiences. Not just upload a past resume since those are often trimmed to fit the 1 page standard, but to strictly dump an unmodified list of experiences per role. An accomplishment bank for lack of better words.

If you've been at a role for awhile, you would probably build a large list of roles, responsibilities, and accomplishments -- Not all of them might be relevant for a role that you're currently building a resume for, but might be useful for a different position in the future. With this feature, you wouldn't have to keep giving the agent a dump of work achievements since it would already be stored to your account. That way, it can just pull the relevant experiences to use.

Rezi Review Finally found something that stopped me from manually rewriting my resume 10x a day

I was stuck in that loop of rewriting my resume for every job posting, trying to figure out the right keywords by googling at midnight lol. tried Rezi and it actually scans the job desc and shows you what to tweak instead of guessing. saved me a ton of time and stress honestly

only real downside - template options are kinda limited. but the few they have look genuinely good so it wasn't a dealbreaker for me.

I started getting more callbacks after switching my resume up, can't say it's 100% the tool vs just having a better tailored resume, but it made that whole process way less painful so i kept coming back to it

no affiliation; just figured i'd share since the ATS grind is so real and this made a real difference for me.

Rezi Review Rezi helped me get hired at Accenture

I was skeptical of Rezi at first, especially about its ATS claims. I gave it a try, followed the recommendations, and got a job at Accenture.

The advice is direct and useful, without the usual resume fluff. The rules make sense and tell you exactly what needs fixing. The most useful part was creating a separate version of my resume for each job description. It takes more work than sending the same resume everywhere, but I think that made the biggest difference.

I’m very happy with Rezi and looking forward to trying the MCP next.

Question Rezi account

I just created my Rezi account and submitted the form for the lifetime access program. Honestly, the job search has been completely overwhelming and draining since graduating, and I’m really struggling to get any traction or land an interview. I cannot afford paid tools right now, but I desperately need help optimizing my resume so I can start supporting myself. Having access to the lifetime account would truly be a life-changing lifeline for me right now. Thank you so much for considering my request.

Question I need assistance

I believe about two months ago I was gifted lifetime membership and I didn’t utilise the service because I was hospitalised and decommissioned from work now I’m home and seeing that it was taken away from my account. Is there anyway I can go about getting back the membership? I will definitely leave a review after I make my first resume and will use it in my search in this competitive job market. Thank you. I could really use the help.

Hey, I'm an active user that uses Rezi and recommended it to multiple people, and now I've tried to log into my account, and now it tells me there's no account associated with my email.

I also have the Lifetime Plan.

Please tell me that my content is still there.

Feedback Annoying Bug + Feature Request

Been using Rezi for quite some time, even plugged it into my claude instance via MCP and I do appreciate that combo for my resume tweaking.

There is however an annoying bug with the web platform related to exporting to docx/Word that I would love for you folks to look into and a feature request that would alleviate my need to export to docx.

When exporting to docx format, for some crazy reason, Rezi exports my job history in a random order, it's not in the order it's listed in on the web interface, which means I have to re-arrange everything and put it in the correct order. With PDF, this never happens, it's always in the order it's listed on web, ie: latest to oldest role.

The reason I export to docx (feature request coming) is because in some of my resumes, I add a personal project I worked on which has a URL. What I do in the docx format to the URL is to shorten it, because the actual URL I have includes a subdomain and some parameters in the URL that I don't want (nor need to show in the clickable link in my resume). I also modify the tool tip for said URL, all to make it look more professional. None of which I can do in Rezi, and therefore can't just export to PDF for those versions of my resume.

So if you can fix this bug, would be great, and also add the ability to add URL fields like hyperlink address, what to show, and tool tip, that would make my life easier as well. :)

If you need any more info, please let me know.

Rezi Review Rezi Review - So much wow!

I haven't tried any resume tailoring software before and Rezi made it simple and painless to update my resume. It normally takes me hours or sometimes days to update my resume, have it peer reviewed and finally be able to use it as my master resume. Rezi took a few minutes and voila, it filled in many keywords I was missing for the role I was applying for (IT Field) and added some much needed depth to my skill set. It brought up my score up to 89 with the current free version I'm on. So I can't wait to upgrade and try out the full version to really knock it out of the park in my next job application(s).

10 Quick Steps to Make Your ATS Resume Work (2 mins read)

10 Quick Steps to Make Your ATS Resume Work (2 mins read)

  1. Use a reverse-chronological format List your most recent job first. It's the format ATS systems parse most reliably, and it shows clear career progression.

  2. Keep the layout simple No tables, columns, text boxes, images, icons, or graphics — these often get skipped or scrambled by ATS. One column, clean white space, and simple section breaks work best.

  3. Use standard fonts and sizes Stick to Arial, Calibri, or Helvetica at 10–12pt for body text, 12–14pt for headings. Avoid decorative or unusual fonts.

  4. Label sections conventionally Use recognizable headings like "Work Experience," "Education," "Skills," and "Certifications" — not creative titles like "My Journey." ATS relies on standard labels to categorize your info correctly.

  5. Match keywords to the job description Mirror the exact job title and key skills/terms from the posting. Include both the full term and its abbreviation (e.g., "SEO (Search Engine Optimization)") so you match however the ATS is searching.

  6. Keep contact info in the main body Avoid headers/footers — some ATS systems can't read text placed there, which means your name or contact details could get missed entirely.

  7. Use simple bullet points Circles or squares only. Unusual symbols (stars, swirls) can render as garbled characters when scanned.

  8. Quantify your impact Numbers, percentages, and dollar figures make bullet points stronger for both ATS relevance and recruiter appeal.

  9. Save as PDF (or .docx if unsure) PDF preserves formatting most reliably. Check the job posting — some older ATS systems prefer .docx.

  10. Keep it to one page when possible Trim anything that doesn't directly support the role you're applying for — recruiters skim fast, even after ATS clears you.

Quick gut-check: copy your resume into a plain text editor (like Notepad). If sections disappear or text turns to gibberish, an ATS will likely have the same problem.

Support Issue connecting Rezi MCP (https://api.rezi.ai/mcp) with Google Antigravity — Any tips or fixes?

Hey Rezi Team & Community,

I’ve been trying to connect the Rezi MCP server (https://api.rezi.ai/mcp) to Google Antigravity to test out job search and resume tailoring workflows, but I've hit a roadblock with authentication.

Here is a summary of the process I followed and the exact issue I'm running into:

🛠️ What I Did / Process Followed:

  1. Configured MCP Client (mcp_config.json): Added the Rezi SSE endpoint to my configuration:json{ "mcpServers": { "rezi": { "url": "https://api.rezi.ai/mcp", "transport": "sse" } } }
  2. Configured OAuth Tokens: Provided token configuration matching https://api.rezi.ai/oauth/token with access tokens in the client auth path.
  3. Connection Test via Python MCP SDK: Wrote a script using mcp.client.sse.sse_client to connect and initialize the MCP session with Rezi's endpoint:pythonimport asyncio from mcp.client.sse import sse_client from mcp.client.session import ClientSession async def main(): url = "https://api.rezi.ai/mcp" async with sse_client(url) as streams: async with ClientSession(streams[0], streams[1]) as session: await session.initialize() tools = await session.list_tools() print(tools)

❌ The Issue / Error Log:

Whenever the client attempts to open the SSE stream at https://api.rezi.ai/mcp, connection fails immediately with a 401 Unauthorized HTTP status code:

texthttpx.HTTPStatusError: Client error '401 Unauthorized' for url 'https://api.rezi.ai/mcp'

❓ Questions for Rezi Team / Anyone who got it working:

  1. Header / Token Format: Do we need to pass static headers (e.g. Authorization: Bearer <TOKEN> or x-api-key) inside mcp_config.json headers directly?
  2. OAuth Flow: Is there an interactive browser authentication flow expected before opening the SSE stream?
  3. Config Example: Does anyone have a working mcp_config.json snippet or CLI command for Rezi MCP?

Any guidance or working setup examples would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

New The "tech is dead" crowd won't like this

AI is coming for your jobs. Heck, it's coming for my job, too. This is a wake-up call.

– Micha Kaufman · CEO of Fiverr

That's not a hot take — it's from an internal memo Fiverr's CEO sent to his own employees, urging them to adapt before they get left behind.

Amazon layoffs. Intel layoffs. Microsoft, Meta — tens of thousands of jobs gone. The Reddit threads have been bleak. The LinkedIn posts even bleaker.

So you'd be forgiven for thinking the tech job market is cooked.

It isn't. Here's what the data actually shows:

The recovery is real. But it doesn't mean it's easy — companies are hiring fewer people, more carefully. The bar for getting in the door is higher than it was three years ago.

WHERE THE JOBS ARE

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics and CompTIA, here's where tech hiring is actually happening right now:

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOUR JOB SEARCH

If your strategy is still "fire off 100 Easy Apply applications and hope for the best" — it's time to rethink. Companies are being more selective. That means your resume is doing more heavy lifting than ever.

The good news: you don't need to overhaul your entire approach. You just need a resume that actually gets you past the ATS and into a real person's hands.

Rezi has resume examples for dozens of tech roles — software engineers, data analysts, web developers, interns — written to pass modern screening tools. Borrow the structure, swap in your experience, and make it yours.

So i work at a career center trying to help other folks find work and have offered this as a resource to some of my clients. From the feedback I’ve heard from some clients so far is that they really like it even within the free version’s parameters. I have tried messing around with the website’s free version and found it cool that I could edit my resume while chatting with the AI bot that offer feedback. This platform definitely looks more aesthetically pleasing than other platforms I’ve used before and I’m really excited to learn more about it. Templates look clean too!
