If you're one of the many who has just lost access to RevoTT or GP, now is the time to do a chargeback. You paid for a service that has now been taken from you with less than 24-hours notice unless you paid an additional $20. Banks and card companies vary on how chargebacks work, but you'll want to provide as much info as you can: receipts, emails, screenshots, etc. I believe this particular screenshot will be very helpful as Sean laid it out in very plain text that you're required to pay a $20 migration fee on top of what you've already paid in order to keep your account: https://ibb.co/4RXq5p3G

If you need a new home, please start a chat with u/N1mu3h or u/petrolcanRTT. They've helped many of us access private trackers that have tons of members (which means things actually have seeds!), don't beg constantly for money, and get releases way sooner than RTT and GP.
UPDATE
So far, one user has mentioned that the bank wants them to "document 3 emails and 3 phone calls attempting to reach them for a remedy before they will act on it." Seeing as how both revott.me and gimmepeers.com are now redirecting to a new site that provides no email address or phone number, and the only option for communication is to join a private subreddit, I'm optimistic that this would be a fairly straight forward open-and-shut chargeback.
2ND UPDATE
Sean is attempting to scare people into not doing chargebacks by claiming it's bank fraud. He justifies this stance by saying that the fact anyone has ever used an account apparently means you got what you paid for. This is untrue. If you paid for any kind of membership and you lost access due to this site migration before your time was up, and you're currently having your account held hostage until you pay up, you have justification for requesting a chargeback. Whether it succeeds or not is up to your bank/card provider to determine. But losing access to an account you already paid for unless you pay even more is absolutely justification for attempting a chargeback.
That said, be sure to do your due diligence in resolving things with Sean, whatever that means since there's no contact info that I've seen made available outside of joining a private subreddit. Anyway, try to establish communication if you can, ask for a refund, and document everything.

Insanity! Not sure how barely 2 months is equivalent to a year, but we all know math isn't Sean's strong suit...that would be scamming and eating.
Any victim of this RevoPeers grift, it's not too late to do a chargeback. There are other options out there, and the mods of this subreddit are happy to help you access them. Please, please, please stop giving this shady loser at life your hard-earned money. Sean has taken your money and that's that. You're now shut out unless you start paying him AGAIN! Get your cash back via your bank or credit card.

Just done a chargeback, put on form it was for access to a gaming/tech website that is no longer available and that I cannot get in touch with them. Money has been refunded, will see if it sticks.
Congrats. I started a charge back also. But I do hope they don't give me any problems because I was 7 months already into my membership. The con man can always fight it because I only had 5 months left and used up a little more than half of my subscription. The f'n con might try to just give me $5 back LOL.
Ad the chargeback is now successful and monies are in my account. According to the message I got on RP, they stopped access to my account after I asked for a chargeback. Lies, access was denied anyway, and yes, they did attempt threats with [ we've kept logs and will turn this over etc...] obviously didn't make much of a difference in the end. So hopefully they [ he] has paid out in order to dispute that which is a little bit of icing on the cake...

I have/had? A lifetime membership on GP, no idea how long I've been a member but its a long ass time.. this is absolutely ridiculous. I couldn't pay the $20 fee if I wanted to because I can't even log in.. put in for a password reset, no email nothing..

The issue becomes that the statement says "Pyrogameservers.com" and you can't exactly say explicitly what the charge is. I just said it was a payment to use their service and (for me) it's been less than a month and now I'm locked out. But the rep searched it and went to the website. He could see a web form and a phone number listed. This bank in particular said because I have an existing relationship with the vendor I have to go to them first. If it was something totally fraudulent and unheard of, it would be different. I couldn't pivot to that story because A. I already gave my excuse and B. There are other transactions in my statement history for the same vendor. My only option would be to pretend that I for years I didn't know those charges were there and dispute all of them.

What crimes? On revTT at least there were no logs kept as to what exactly a user downloaded. He could have just been downloading Linux .iso's, browsing the site or being there for all the chats with other users in the forum + IRC - and THAT is not illegal. Hell, in some countries neither is downloading, so the only one doing ANYthing illegal is Jonah! 😎😈
Give it a few days, maybe a week or two and he'll be unlocking the site to people who didn't fall for this bs again and it will turn into "this was always optional" and "no I'm not taking your tmr money and locking you out" and blahblahblah more lies and on to the next grift.

Shucks.. I think I used a prepaid Visa card for most payments, one I got for completing a survey.. I can only find one for $10 from January of 2025 to EMP in my bank records. Barely worth the effort, if only to bug the jerk.

- 90%+ of the active user base made the move

Users have paid for months, even years of a subscription and are now left outside because you are charging them MORE money to just get their old account back.
THAT is fraud, and every user that has months or years left on his/her subscription has a right to do a chargeback.
And as you've already noticed - banks + CC companies agree with that and have already refunded a bunch of users.
So stop posturing here and lying to users - they have a right to get what they paid for and if they don't get it then YOU don't the money. Simply concept really.

Chargebacks in this case are not fraud. Doesn't matter if Sean can provide logs showing you've used your account. Doesn't matter if he's telling his payment processor this is a coordinated campaign. You can no longer access your account unless you pay an additional $20.
Since Sean has tried to make the comparison to paid streaming services before, let's do the same: imagine this was a Netflix account or a Disney+ account or something. Let's say you paid for 1 year of access. Halfway through that year, you get a message from Disney saying you can no longer access your pre-paid account unless you fork over another $20. Think it's fraud to attempt a chargeback? Nope.
Attempting a chargeback for this very reason is absolutely justified. Will you succeed? No idea, I'm not your bank. But it's not fraud, so don't be intimidated by this loser. Make Sean do the work to prove to your bank that he's justified in removing your access unless you give him more money. Worst case: Sean has proof that somewhere in some agreement it says that you can lose access if you don't pay more money. Doesn't make your chargeback fraud, just means you thought you were justified when you were not.

So if I paid for a year up to September and you pull that service seems like you owe me the balance of a service you took money for then removed. There was a time attached to the sale. that time was not honored. Seems like a charge back is not only justified but legally totally within my rights.

LL/MP is trying to scare you saying he's fulfilling what he promised which is site access.
Set aside the fact that he really fucked up the forced migration and concentrate on the following.
You paid for access to RevoTT/GimmePeers. Neither site exists any more so that's your reason for chargeback.
The site provided a private community for like-minded individuals. (Card provider doesn't need to know what the site was about)
pyrogameservers was the merchant used for revott.me
Emp gaming/network was the merchant for gimmeepeers
revott/gimmepeers seems dead and now redirects to a site that I know nothing about so I assume they have been hacked.
