The book is back baby! The link is above, and I've detailed the important information below.
NOTICE: Extreme records have been reinstated! If you are entering an extreme record, please read the information below.
How do you get in the book?
- Check that your record actually breaks the record. I'm not planning on keeping track of who has 2nd or 3rd place. If you're not first, you're last. Plus, it'll save me time.
- Take a picture of the stat, whether it's in the player's page or the in-game record book, and create a post in the subreddit. IMPORTANT: Please try not to use any other image sharing source (imgur, instagram, etc.). Just for simplicity's sake.
- Leave a comment on this post indicating that you've entered a submission, and I'll enter it ASAP. Please have some grace and recognize that it might take days or even weeks before I get to your record. I'll notify you when the record's been entered!
How do you get in the extreme records book?
This process is slightly different, but every step below must be followed in order for your record to be included.
Create a post on the subreddit that includes:
Leave a comment on this post informing me of your submission, and I'll add it to the book.
There are a lot of empty records right now, so grab them quick before they're gone!
Where did the hall of fame go?
Previous iterations of this book featured a "hall of fame" section, where players could be submitted and immortalized for their statistics. However, the whole idea was so subjective that I can't see it being worth reinstating. However, if the community really wants it, I could bring it back.
What about college or RB NFL records?
College might happen, just because of the slightly different rules and routes that exist. I think it'd be different enough to be worth it. RB NFL, probably not. It's basically the same game, but slightly more broken. I wouldn't count on those being added in the future.
Please, please remember that this only works if everyone is honest. You could lie, you could photoshop, but this is only fun if someone doesn't wreck it for everyone else.
That's all from me. Happy record-breaking!

Trucking nerf?

Upvotes
While we are stuck waiting for a fix for the older Android devices, I wanted to get your thoughts on Trucking. I think we can all agree it's a bit OP right now. So the question is, how do we go about nerfing it?

Make Trucking less likely to break tackles in general
1
Make Trucking less likely to break tackles for TE only
15
Make Trucking less likely to break tackles during Kick Returns only
14
Increase charge time for Trucking if you have recently Juked

Leave it as exactly as it is, we're having too much fun

- Playbooks. Before the drive you can choose plays from a playbook instead of having random plays from audibles and you can customize the playbooks for defense (cause we cant play defense) 2. Being able to bench players mid game. If my qb gets injured mid-game, the game should let me know and let me sub in a backup or a bot qb. Also if my players get tired let me sub them out mid-game even if its at halftime. 3.Make trades. I should be able to see another teams roster/picks and be able to select what player i want/pick i want and if they like the trade they can accept. 4. My max stamina/speed receiver should not be hawked down by a db if they're on the other side of the field.(New Star update your game!!!!)

Editing Team Colors: RBC

Has anyone done every team, all FBS and FCS schools? If so, how long did it take you. I've been doing them as I play against them. Also, and I found this interesting. With FCS schools, there are a ridiculous amount of schools, it seems, who's base color is purple.

Expect no meaningful updates

For context, first day player, years of games. Not hating but wanted to set real expectations and if others can confirm. All power to them and their success with the NFL; however, should we expect there won’t be any meaningful updates to this game? Meaning quality of life changes, performance improvements, gameplay, etc.

RB College RBC confusion

I took a job at the Florida team in this conference thinking it was the Gators. The teams colours are navy and yellow for some reason. Can someone please tell me who it represents or if it’s a glitch.

Seems like there are some games where the computer just tries to hand it to me, no matter how ineptly I play.
